another girly question... sorry no guys allowed
so i want to loose weight, but i am afraid that when i do, my boobs will shrink. right now i am barely a B, but when i think about how flat i was when i was lighter, i freak out. i was i am already hate how small they are and i really don't want them to shrink. of course it would be nice if my waist, butt, and thighs were smaller... but not my boobs. has anyone else experience this? maybe it sounds silly, but this seriously is the most demotivating thing for me.
Christa, I read your profile, you don't have much too lose, I wouldn't worry
If it's any consolation, I've been exercising and watching my calories for 3 months. I've lost a total of 7 lbs - and my boobs have done absolutely nothing!!! In fact, they seem to be a bit bigger than before. I'm not sure if that's just because my stomach is a little flatter and they just SEEM to stick out more, or if it's because I occasionally do chest presses and they've been lifted. Either way, my husband is thrilled with the results!!!
yeah... i started at 155 and am now down to 146.5. i want to get down to 140 by christmas definitely and when i do that i'm going to evaluate whether i should loose some more (like down to 130). so that's a big difference... 25 lbs.
I've lost almost 25 lbs in the 5 months that I've been on c-c. I've gone from a medium D to a very full C. You only have 6 lbs to go so I wouldn't worry about a drastic change. Good luck.
Unfortunately, according to what I've read, every person's body loses weight in a different manner. There is a certain order that you gain and lose weight. So, if you began by gaining weight in your hips, then boobs, then stomach, you'll lose weight in the opposite order--stomach, boobs, hips. However, doing muscles training for different areas of the body can make your body appear to be more toned, despite your weight. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. So don't get discouraged if you're not losing much weight--the point is to look better... right? So good luck. I believe in you, I know you can achieve any weight you desire to be. Just don't punish yourself when your boobs get smaller--chances are its just your "order of weight loss."

Since your boobs are small right now, maybe you won't lose any weight there. I know for a fact that if I lose any weight in my boobs, I may as well be a really hippy pear-shaped boy!
I lost a total of 45lbs (I'm now at my goal) and I went from full 36B's to 34A's.
Sad but true.
If you have little to lose tho, you probably won't see as drastic changes in your bra.

Sad but true - woman loses fat all over the body. But if everywhere else it looks better, breasts look worse. My own experience: I went from 191 lb. with big round good looking DD to 169 lb. with still D, but my boobs look shapeless without a bra and stretch marks are very visible. I'm seriously thinking about implants when I get to 150 lb. Hope you won't that get dramatic difference!
I'm scared of that too! I can't afford to lose anything from the chest area.
In fact, I'm happy with everything from the ribs up on my body.
It's weird. I've met my goal weight of 125 pounds (I'm five foot six and a half) but I still have so much fat to lose on my bum and thighs. Why is fat sooooo stubborn there?
Because I'm not happy with my bum and thighs, I'm thinking I should still lose weight, but I'm wondering if that means I'm going to also lose more from the places I'm already content with, like my chest?

I went from 148 lbs to 133 lbs, and I had to throw away all my old bras. I used to like my boobs, now they are gone. Everybody has noticed - Mom, friends... My husband says he doesn't mind, but I miss my nice boobs! It was the only part of my body I liked at 148 lbs... But I guess everything in life has a cost, and loosing weight meant, at least for me, to also loose my boobs.
Hi Christa!
I know exactly what you are going through. I too am a B and when I lose weight they get a bit smaller. But remember, if the rest of you is getting smaller too, your boobs, in proportion look about the same.
I understand your frustration, but I would say...do what makes you feel the most comfortable, and if that means you lose weight and your boobs get smaller, buy a nice new padded bra :). I have some friends that rely on them!

I firmly believe you can be too big or too small. It all depends on your body frame. I am 5 foot 6 inches. I can wear a medium through the shoulders but I have to get a large and sometimes an extra large to accomidate for the breasts. I am currently a D. I used to be a C and like my size. When I lose weight my boobs do shrink and are not firm. My solution is if I reach my goal weight of 150 lbs. I have 42 lbs to go. I have decided I will bring my boobs back from South America. This is not due to just weight gain. This is gravity and having children. I have to get a size 14 in a dress to accomdiate my boobs. I think it stinks either way you go. Too small, too big.
If I lose ANY weigth from my boobs, I shall cry. They've grown a TINY little bit, and I'm thrilled (I'm a 34B.. now I can fill up a 32C), I don't want to lose thatttt!!
I agree with everyone's body will respond differently to weight loss. I have been 34B full down to 34A not as snug. Just keep eating healthy as you lose weight.
Once you are ther at your goal, getting a different size breast especially larger is no longer impossible nowadays - surgery, or simply, extra padding :) (I'd go for padding personally, tht way I can change appearance as I want to ^^)

If you do lose your boobs, try taking fenugreek pills. It's just
an herb, and made a whole cup size difference for me, and one of my
friends. It's like a second puberty for the boobs, and
apparently, once you reach the size you want, you just simply stop
taking them. It's such a healthy herb, and it does so much for
your body, except it may increase your appetite. Not something I
experienced, but I've heard of it happening.
I don't understand why having small breasts is so horrible. When you look at other women with A-cups do you silently make fun of them for not being "feminine" enough? If the answer is "no", then why worry and if the answer is "yes", I have no sympathy for you. I get so discouraged when I hear girls complain about their breasts and thighs and butts. A few years ago huge behinds were a no-no. Today, thanks to J-Lo and Beyonce, everyone wants butt implants. The defenition of beauty will change more frequently than your body, so why not learn to love yourself and be healthy, regardless of what it does to your bra collection.
While I do agree that no one should be put down for having the body
type that they do, I think if someone wants to change their body so
that they are happy with themselves, it has nothing to do with silenty judging
other people. I would change so many things about my body, but I also
don't think any less of anyone that has the same traits I have.
It doesn't always have to be about someone else, it could just be your
own preferances with your body.
I agree with you ama, and I wasn't trying to imply that anyone and everyone who wants to change something about his/her own body is judgmental. However, saying that change has "nothing to do with silently judging other people" isn't something I buy into either. There are plenty of people out there who change in order to become "hotter" and attract more sexual attention (clearly they are not doing it for themselves). And there are also plenty of people who desire change in order to become healthier and better versions of themselves regardless of others' opinions.
My point is that small breasts are nothing to "freak out" about. They're not tumors! Plus, they will have a better chance of staying perkier and you will avoid back problems associated with larger breasts :) Every size has its benefits, so cherish yours, no?

So what do you want to do? Be skinny? Or have big boobs? The choice is up to you! :P Wear a padded bra; get implants (I don't recommending it per se -- I'm just saying if you're THAT "freaked" about it, go ahead). Just do what you have to do and worry about "fixing" stuff later cause you can ALWAYS "fix" stuff.
The quickest way to get the guys interested is to say "no guys allowed." LOL! :P
