I do the 20 min workout everyday along with my 1-1 1/2 workout at the gym....I honestly love it just because it has seemed to make me more flexible. But i was actually wondering if anybody knew about how many calories it burns...i dont have a clue and it isnt specifically listed...Thanks for all replies....

I'm not sure-I've been logging mine as conditioning at home. It's probably not very precise, but it gives me an idea.
I do Windsor and it depends on the workout you are doing. I have the 20 min. ab and the 20 butt and thigh. I compare them both to
calisthenics I would say light calisthenics.
calisthenics I would say light calisthenics.
I am doing Winsor pilates too. I have the basic one, the butt and thigh one and the upper body workout. I also classify as light conditioning. I don't think it burns too many calories as first, but since it tones and builds a bit a muscle, it's very good for fat burning. Doing pilates 3 times a week helped me lose my first 20!
hey jinxxxer,
This will not answer your question, but rather, I have a question for you. lol
I was doing the windsor pilates video a while ago, I found it frustrating since I'm not flexible at all, I too work out at the gym for at least 1 and a half hours to 2, 5 days a week and so I was just doing it as an extra workout, however, I heard that if you don't do it properly your stomach can build outward instead of in, do you know anything about that? Needless to say, as soon as I heard that, I stopped doing it. lol Any thoughts on that?

I havent heard anything like that ......but i also havent done any research....i think i will look into it.....im not super flexible..but im getting that way...i actually tried the advanced body sculpting today......it is definately harder...("like holy crap thats hard"harder) .....but i did make it through it.......so there you go.....but i am going to look into that...thanks.....
I'm interested to know how your research goes, so let me know.
thanks.
thanks.
I love winsor pilates.. I also do it along with a gym work out. It depends on what workout you do. There are some just for flexiblity and some for toning. I usally (depending on what video I use) look for something similar on the list to compare it to...
I don't know if this helps or not, but I just did the 15 minute power sculpting abs routine this morning, and my heart rate monitor told me I burned 57 calories. My average heart rate was only 98. I haven't 'measured' any of the other workouts yet, although I am trying to use them more often so I get some toning. If I remember, I'll try to post back with what some of the other routines do for me.
