does anybody else like some truly demented television?

for instance...Toddlers & Tiaras?  it's the proverbial train wreck, man.  can't stop staring.

I watch it sometimes. You're completely right to call it demented.

I dont know that show but yes demented, twisted, dark, edgy, along those lines. 

Found this video on it (LINK) and didnt realize it was reality.  Ive had to walk away from reality freak shows.  Yes they suck you in which is why I had to make a clean break.  I was caught up in ones where the drama was clearly exaggerated.  This one seems like the real deal, hence more a trainwreck. 

Hahaha,I totally know what you mean! Ever time I see the commercial for that show I think " I have got to see this... Though I'm not sure whyyyy..." lol but I always seem to miss it  :( it just looks SO unbelievable, you HAVE to see it. Right now, I'm completely addicted to intervention!!!

My new guilty pleasure has become Tough Love on VHI. Pretty much any of those "______ &/of Love" shows on VHI are mindless enough that I can just sit there and watch and appreciate my life for what it is compared to the trainwrecks vying for Bret Michaels affection or whatever.

But for sure, Tough Love sucks me in at night, especially before bed. I ended up going to bed an hour later than I had anticipated last night because I couldn't stop watching the meltdown that was on tv. Oh so good. It's a good thing my fiance hadn't come to bed yet, he'd never let me live down my trashy tv guilt session, haha.

I LOVE these shows!!!  The people are so disgusting and pathetic. 

Demented might not be the right word, but I find the Duggar family (18 Kids and Counting) to be really creepy.  Not for having 18 kids (although as a parent, I question their sanity with that alone) but for their ultra-"Footloose" religious views on stuff...  No music, no dancing, all the girls have to keep their hair long, etc...

-ahaha that **** Cat Dolls show, I can't remember the name of the new group they were forming. My husband wanted to divorce me
-ANTM they don't fight enough though

Basically any trashy reality TV where there are fights and crying

I used to watch alot of it.  I have since quit cold turkey.  These shows are ruining TV for me.  Networks keep cancelling good scripted shows for the reality crap.

ABC just cancelled Life on Mars (U.S. version), one of the few shows left that is not trashy and all about sex.  I'm truly peeved off at them right now. 

Trashy and all about sex is bad?

My version of hell would be trapped in a room with 100s of TVs playing local news channel

ANTM is awesome, I can't stop watching it. Tyra is insane, the girls are jealous and catty all the time, the completely baseless judging - it's great.

 Absolutely not.  I like my sexy shows too.  But it's nice to have some shows around that are not ALL about that.

lol, I watch Toddlers & Tiaras occasionaly, also shows like Bridezillas and the new one on oxygen called Pretty Wicked,  watch Tough Love sometimes. And the ones like Charm School or whatever it's called were they try to 'reform' them. lol. They make me laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
