A couple days ago I got my monthly devil and threw up my arms at eating healthy and binged. But I noticed that after I ate, I felt really sick? Not learning my lesson I did it again the next day...

Has anybody else noticed that the foods they used to eat with no problem, is starting to make them feel sick (and kinda gross)?

Now I crave a chicken-stir fry with fresh vegetables, when before I would crave a big mac and chocolate shake!

yep! went through the same thing. It's about retraining your body and your tastebuds.
Oh yes!
You're not alone in this one. :)
I used to eat fried food, baked goods, and sweets all the time.  Now greasy food gives me heartburn, things made of white flour sit like lead in my stomach for hours and sugar gives me a headache.

I figure my body now knows what's bad for it and rejects it.
Completely. I get nauseous at the thought of eating fast food, and while I loved soda so much, it feels so strange in my mouth and tastes differently now if I were to have one.

I also have found a love for all sorts of fruits and vegetables. I even like tomatoes and mushrooms now! (Before, I hated them. XP)
totally... a while ago I went out for my friend's birthday and I ate an entire portion of chicken fingers and fries and then a slice of cheesecake. Normally I would be able to put that away AND still polish off a bag of chips when we got home... but I literally wanted to puke because I was soooo sick and soooo full. It was gross, but it was totally a learning lesson. Now I really KNOW that I don't have to eat the whole thing, that only half really IS enough!
Yay! its good to know Im not weird! lol
And... Hooray for shrinking stomachs that are getting used to the right kind of food  !!
Yes, especially anything with grease.
I can no longer stomach a krispy kreme donut...

that's a good thing!
I wish I could break myself of sweets!  Usually I can keep it reasonably under control (i.e. I can usually pass them by in the grocery, and can usually say "no" to them if someone offers) except close to that time of month -_-;;; .  Right now, I can tell it's getting close, 'cause I saw the big Cadbury bars on sale for $1 each and couldn't resist!  Well, at least I talked myself down from getting two of them, and the one I did buy is being carefully rationed, so hopefully it won't be too bad. . .
yes, ive definately noticed a change in my tastebuds.  I also feel ill if I eat junk food and can enjoy 2 or 3 squares of chocolate, but then the rest of a chocolate just doesnt do it for me the way it used to... weird.  The only thing I was having trouble staying away from was cookies... now even that seems to be a distant binge thing.  Its a good thing I guess!
well unfortunately my body still accepts the junk.  I ate mcdonalds and popeyes yesterday and my body feels just fine...I wish it would punish me.  I have to do that myself with my brain I guess. (the good thing is i only ate a cheesburger at mcdonalds and fried chicken at popeyes, no fries.)
I never made the connection until now. Before I use to love it when my mom made pork chops but now when i know shes making them i kinda cringe. Now i dont get sick after i eat them so it may be a bit different. maybe i just got sick OF them.
My body seems to be punishing me, lately, if I eat things I know I shouldn't.  I get really nauseated, it lasts for hours, and taking antacids doesn't help it at all :-P .  Maybe I'll finally learn the lesson soon. . . sure would make dieting a lot easier. . .
You all a bonkers  I fn LOVE mcdonalds.  havent eaten there in 6 months, but I start to salivate and jump at the window when I drive by one.
Last night I went out drinking with my friends and we ordered pizza and chicken wings, and even drunk out of my mind (yes yes i know there are tons of calories and carbs! but im only 20!) and i could only eat one peice of pizza and a couple chicken wings!

normally i would have eaten a whole pizza and a bunch of wings
macdonalds always makes me sick... always have always will. However I always forget this and I get sick.
I have found that I don't want the soda (Pepsi) like I used to want it, and that water is becoming more satisfying to me!  Oh, and I am perfectly content with a scoop of fat-free sherbet instead of a scoop of very fattening ice cream (and yes, I'm an ice cream addict!)....

I think its definately a good thing... especially when you hit the weight you want to be at... You won't gain it all back because you went off some fad diet and went back to eating more then cabbage!

Thats probably why this website is so popular. I've personally lost almos 50lbs on it since I started! And keeping it off!
