Nottingham here :)

Hello!

I lived in Camden, London until I was 12.

I'm now in Australia, and its bloody awful.

I cant wait to go back

I'm from Scotland...many of our American cousins think that Scotland is in England...they are so wrong !

I'm an American studying overseas in England, if that counts.  :)

Hi Kezza,

I had to smile when I read your post.  It's true; many Americans are just plain thick when it comes to world geography and history.  I'm not one of them and I'd be happy to share experiences with you.

Mo from Michigan (USA)

Hi Mo...I'm glad I made you smile and I hope you are having a great weekend. I was just having a gentle "ribbing" of the common American attribute of classing the UK as "England" instead of individual countries..England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.  It would be a bit like us calling Canada part of the USA.

I am fortunate enough to spend considerable time in the US, both on vacation and with my business and its amazing how many times I have being asked..are you from England !

I have visited several parts of the States, from New York to LA, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Florida ( say hi to the mouse ! ) , Alabama, North Carolina ( many many times ), Portland Oregon....sadly never Michigan..still one of these days I'll get there.

Thanks for responding to the gentle teasing of a proud Scot !

Kezza , you hit the nail on the head there. Im from Glasgow in Scotland and sometimes get a bit miffed with the assumption that that makes me English.

Hurrah! A fellow northwester! I was born in Bolton, but now live in Preston. Was in Manchester this weekend visiting some friends and enjoying the wonderful sunshine :D

My profile pic is actually of me in front of the Museum of Science and Industry after the Great Manchester Run last year

Not English, but a UK-dian...come from a little place north of England called Scotland :)

English, from Gloucester, living in USA.

First thing most Americans ask me is if my home town is in London.

Edit: I get lonely to hear an accent from home.

Yeah I am , living in Croydon in the south east.

Hey, I'm from Manchester also! :-)

Loving the weather at the moment!!
