Anybody Famous?
Is there anybody that lived in your town that is famous?
I have a funny story. I worked at retail store in the 1970's and I was helping this friend of mine move into her house. The girl that was living with her showed me a picture of her and this guy. Later I remarked to my friend how much older the guy looked than her roomate. My friend said that he was her uncle. Then she said "Didn't you recognize him?" I said no! She then told me Mary Ann's uncle is Martin Sheen!
People from my area- Agnus Moorehead,Dave Chappel,Rob Lowe
Maya Angelou, Scot Bakula, Chuck Berry, Harry Caray, Jack Buck, Bob Costas, Sheryl Crow, Miles Davis, T.S. Eliot, Redd Foxx, Scott Joplin, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Stan Musial, Vincent Price, Albert Puhols, Joseph Pulitzer, Ozzie Smith, Tina Turner, Tennesee Williams...
There are a lot more, but that's who I can think of off the top of my head.

I just watched Cecil B. Demented yesterday.
i come from a really small town (like, 3000), but can boast paul dean from the band loverboy and several olympians.
i capped him b/c he's so ridiculously lame and shouldn't be from anywhere near me, b/c i'm so awesome you see, and i just couldn't believe my eyes when i saw his name!
I come from a pretty small town too and don't know of anyone famous from here, but Robert Downey Jr's mother lives here--in public housing! My stepson saw him in the local gym and tried to say hello. The star was rude so SS put a sticky note on his back that said 'druggie'. (Yes, I had a talk with the boy about that...and then I giggled when he was out of the room.)
