Anybody Famous?
Is there anybody that lived in your town that is famous?
I have a funny story. I worked at retail store in the 1970's and I was helping this friend of mine move into her house. The girl that was living with her showed me a picture of her and this guy. Later I remarked to my friend how much older the guy looked than her roomate. My friend said that he was her uncle. Then she said "Didn't you recognize him?" I said no! She then told me Mary Ann's uncle is Martin Sheen!
People from my area- Agnus Moorehead,Dave Chappel,Rob Lowe
wow, I just looked it up and my town is kinda lame!
I went to the same college as Weird Al (he signed the bathroom where he recorded his first song)....
Not too impressive
Sroscoe! don't forget the county's greatest claim to fame! Zach Efron went to AGHS and lived in SLO for a while, I think.
So yeah, Zach Efron went to my high school (about 10 years after me) and Mr. Flowers the typing teacher was an extra in Teen Wolf, back in the day. My hometown was a breeding ground for talent.

Are you from St. Louis, santonacci?
Well, I've been in St. Louis since '93, but I grew up a bit further southwest. Famous people from where I grew up: Kathleen Turner, Brad Pitt, Bob Barker, John Goodman, and John Ashcroft.
The manager of the Backstreet Boys lives in a house in the neighborhood near mine. He always gave out great stuff at Halloween. :)
When I go on our motorboat, I can see (one of) Shaq's houses on the shore. It's huge, but pretty ugly. It has a shiny, blue roof. Yuck.
Tiger Woods lives in a neighborhood near mine. The golf tournaments go on in the neighborhood next to mine.
Orlando's full of it. Can't wait to move. :P
Tim Allen, Gillian Anderson(the x-files), Kristen Bell, Elizabeth Berkeley, Selma Blair, Dave Coulier(Full House), Jeff Daniels, James Earl Jones, Lee Majors, Tim Meadows, Tom Selleck, Sinbad, David Spade, Lily Tomlin, Courtney B. And Alice Cooper likes to golf here. ;)
um, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Ted Kennedy, Barack Obama, etc. are all here (whether we like it or not).
But seriously as far as famous people born here, we got Marvin Gaye, Duke Ellington, Dave Chappelle, Goldie Hawn, Samuel L. Jackson, Pete Sampras, and more...of course, none of them live here anymore.
And you remember the infomercial guy who wears the question mark suit, he's a local.
