Anybody Famous?

Is there anybody that lived  in your town that is famous?

I have a funny story. I worked at retail store in the 1970's and I was helping this friend of mine move into her house. The girl that was living with her showed me a picture of her and this guy. Later I remarked to my friend how  much older  the guy looked than her roomate. My friend said that he was her uncle. Then she said "Didn't you recognize him?" I said no!  She then told me Mary Ann's uncle is Martin Sheen!

Well lets see, I was working at the Raffles in Phnom penh last year. One evening our Sales and marketing manager who was passing asked if i knew who was staying in my hotel, i was on my way to change some cash at the reception, how the hell should i know who is staying with us... and she was like its Matt Dillon.. i was like who??? the name rings a bell but couldnt put a face on it... so there i am walking to the resption still trying to think who the heck is Matt Dillon... Get to the reception, get my change, i was turning while counting my change and bumped into someone, looked up and saw him, i said out loud OH YOUR MATT DILLON!, Then a bit embarrased apologized and told him to have a nice evening. egheheheh

I forgot to add that Calvin Borel and Kent Desormeaux are both from my area. (famous horse racing jockey's)

Canton, town I live in now is home to Marilyn Manson, Macy Grey, And Jeff Timons from 9 Degrees! I grew up in Kent. The next town over is Ravenna. Maynard James Keenan, the front man of Tool and A Perfect Circle is from there. His mother still lives there and he goes to visit her often. I saw him summer of 2006 at the Ravenna taco bell. My boyfriend of the time and I were standing at the counter waiting for our food and we see a silver Porche convertible  drive up to the window. I look over and drop my jaw and say "Look!!! It's Maynard!". And I waved and he smiled and waved back! Also I saw Kelly Rippa in Macy's in New York City! :-). Also Drew Carry is from Cleveland and Jack Nickleson went to Kent State lol.

 So unbelievably jealous.  Maynard, at a Taco Bell drive through.  That's like something from The Twilight Zone.

When I lived in New Orleans, they sat Trent Reznor at a table next to mine in a restaurant.  I got his autograph. 

But I love Maynard more than I love Trent (sorry Trent, that is just the way it is).

Well theres no one really FAMOUS who I know that comes from where I live. I guess unless you count Baha-men (who let the dogs out!?!)

But alot of famous people live here and own islands here and such.

Johnny Depp, Shakira, The late Anna Nicole, Nicolas Cage....etc. I dont feel like doing research, but yea.

I'm from Eureka, California ( way up north) and Sara Bareilles (has the hit song "Love Song", really popular right now) is from here and went to the same high school as I did.

Baseball player Nate Bump. There may be more people, but none I can think of at the time. I know there's a few celebrities who have relatives in areas near by and they visit them (with people flocking around or making a big deal of it. Heh.) But, I am originally pretty much from the Boonies. Lmao.

Now I'm living in The Bronx and many people know that this is J. Lo's home place. I was actually shown the street she use to live on, but we weren't for sure which was her home on it.
