I'm in my early 20s, 5'6 and 150lbs (down 5lbs already!) with a medium frame-definitely NOT small. My goal weight is around 135. I am thrilled at the thought of being skinny!
If anyone out there has is around 5'6, has a medium frame and is or has been around 135: what size are/were you (I know it varies)? Anybody with pictures?
I'm just anxious to lose and would like an idea of what I heading for! Silly, yes...but whatever.
I'm 5'7" and 134# - is that close enough?
My picture (it's small in my gallery) is uploaded - a bit hard to see; taken this year (I'm 65 years old).
I've been so underweight for so much of my life, I've refused to have my picture taken very often.
I think you'll like 135# - possibly (based on your bone-structure) you'll like between 128 and 130 even better (my doctor has counseled me all the way, so he gives me a 'range', not a specific number).

Hi...I'm 43 y.o. 5'6" and 146 today. Started out at 156 and wearing a snug size 10. My goal weight is 130 (which I've been able to maintain most of my adult life until this past year). At 130 I wear a size 6.
It's sad to see that I've gained 25 pounds in the last year.....how does that happen?

I am actually right there ! I'm 22, 5'6 and ab out 136 pounds!
I am medium frame as  ;well. I have very small& nbsp;wrists and it seems thin bones but my frame&n bsp;is medium for sure, l ike the width of my shoulders etc.
I wear a 29" waist&n bsp;and usually a medium size top.
I am hoping to get t o 130 and try to los e my gut cause thata  ;where i seem to carry&nb sp;my weight.

For me I think that I will be most comfortable at about 125, with a lower body fat percentage. Def. important the body fat, because in clothes I look really small, but with them off I can see all of the jiggle. so my primary goal is to focuse on building lean muscle mass and if I get to 125 great.
I started here Jan 2, 08 at about 145ish and have lost 10lb, so I'm currently 135lb, w/ about 20% body fat (getting my body fat down was my main goal, not weight loss). My ideal goal is 125lb but I'm shooting for an extra 5lbs and I think I'll be happy. I'm also 5'6" and have a medium frame (I have a wide rib cage, well I think it is, so I will never look skinny). I think clothes sizes vary rfrom store to store, but I did just buy some summer clothes in size 6 (which is huge for me since I was wearing an 11 at 145) and tops in size small. I liek to go by measurments though. MIne are as follows:
Natural Waist - 27", Stomach (at belly button) - 31.5", Hips - 36.5", Thighs at largest point - 21", Calves - 14.5" and arms -12"
Baylward, we're almost twins. I'm about 133 right now (5'6") and also have a wide rib cage so I'm readjusting my initial goal of 120 for about 125-28, because I don't want my ribs to be any more obvious than they already are. I wear a size 4 pant now (6 in certain stores) and a small top. But I live in Europe so the sizes are all screwy over here and make me feel huge, even at this lower weight! What can you do.
