Anybody from Ohio? Do you still have people out of power?

We still have people here without power and some of them are without water as well.

Anybody else from Ohio that have loved ones in the same boat?

I was in Mt. Vernon (50 miles NE of Columbus) over the weekend checking on my house for sale. My house had electricity, but the neighbors across the street had been out all week. On Sunday there were power trucks from North Carolina on the street getting the power turned back on.

I now live 90 miles north of there, almost on the lake and we never lost power. The next town over did for several days.

I live in Beavercreek,Ohio And our power went out and we were also without water because we have a well. It was out for twenty one hours. Our neighbors next door are still without power. They are saying for some it won't be restored until this Wednesday. I'm from the Dayton area.

Trees are down everywhere and is going to take a long time to get back to normal.

I think the Cincinnati area is pretty much back up and running. We're down to about 5,500 people without power from 1.3 million. It's been 8 days so far though so I feel bad for those still without power.

Cleveland here and someone from work finally got theirs on this morning.

Cleveland as well. A few co-workers don't have theirs from the last time I checked. But I do! Gotta love CPP! (Of course, the storm messed up some power lines behind my house, so the only power I had for about 4 days was the fridge...)

Columbus resident here!  The majority of Columbus has their power back, minus some 3,000 people.  It's been crazy.  Aep hopes to get their power all up by tomorrow.

I feel for anyone who loses power for extended periods of time.  Last December, we were without power and hot water for 8 days.  We did have a generator, but it was very expensive with the gas.  When we got our light bill for the month it was only $4.00 less than when we had power the whole time!!

Yes, still some without power. Going on 9 days now.

And here I am, way up in Toledo, completely spiffy.  No power twitches, no excessive rains..
