I've had an old emulator on my computer for ages.  I still play Mario 3 when I'm bored at work.  :3

*sniff*

Mario 3... Legend of Zelda...

*wistful*

ha!  my parent's pack rat behavior pays off for once lol.  They saved everything and I got them when we packed up their house.  how funny is that

Of course! Who doesn't?! They're considered pure gold. :) There is no way I'd part with such things willingly.

I not only have mine, but I still have my old NES hooked up to my television/surround sound.  Talk about epic times, playing some of the old greats.

oooo ooo i still has mine! P: still have the nintendo too! That looks like a fun toy P:

Never had one, BUT my sister has our Atari 2600 which still works.  I think BurgerTime is the only of the games that doesn't work.

BTW - Don't try playing Atari games now.  They are incredibly boring by today's standards, and it will make you feel old to know that you used to be entertained for hours on end playing it.

I have had my Atari 2600 since launch and actually picked up another at a Goodwill around here with a bunch of controllers/system/hook-ups for $10.  Anyways, enough of my good deal, and why I decided to reply...

Games on the Atari 2600 are all kinds of fun still today, especially when you have lots of friends who appreciate "old skool" even though we all have current generation systems.  Personally, I find having Atari parties with groups to be throughly fun and trying to beat each other's scores in the libary of games I have is all kinds of greatness.  Especially when we are doing it while drinking, having to take a shot if you lose against another person in Tank, whomever gets the most points in Mrs. Pacman/Donkey Kong dictates what the others have to drink as punishment, ect. ect.  Even without alcohol I still find hooking it up every once and awhile is great times just for the nostolgia alone.

So, basically I disagree with this comment as it is all in how you enjoy things, I suppose.

Ahh, well anything is better when drinking...  :)  I did have a Commodore 64 emulator on my PC for a while, I spent many hours playing those games...

That's fantastic. Epic times!

oh oh oh!!  I still have mine! I keep it at my mom's house so when we go visit her, my daughter and I have something fun to do while they're sleeping  :)

I keep a list of all the games I have in my purse.  Just in case I run into any games at thrift stores/yard sales that i don't have.  Lately though, I've only been coming across games that I already have.  I have 40 games (10 of those I bought at thrift stores for like 99cents but no more than $3)

I'll NEVER get rid of my Nintendo or it's games.  my daughter likes to play duck-hunt because she likes that BIG OL' gun, lol

*****edited to say-->> I think I'm going to buy one!  I just showed hubster and he thought it was pretty cool.  Thanks for the link, Nomo  :D

OMG. Duck hunt. That was so much fun.

I don't remember where my old Nintendo is.

I really hope my mother didn't get rid of it!

Gooood tiiiiimes!
