Anybody running the Peachtree Road Race July 4?

I had claimed that 2006 was my first and last Peachtree due mostly to the fact that it SUCKED.  I was in the 2nd to last group to go and it was hotter than the hinges.  I got talked into it this year.  Lured by a night in a hotel away from my kids.  Did anyone here get suckered, I mean decide all on their own, to do the Peachtree Road Race?

I too got suckered -- I mean decided to run the peachtree I think the only other one I did was also the 2006 race (probably why I haven't since) It was soooo hot that day! I am still about 70 pounds overweight now so it should be GREAT ( sarcasm ) Good Luck 2 U hope it goes well

How is your training going?  I'm not having any trouble with the mileage part, but I REALLY hate running in heat.  I was dying last week and it was only in the upper 60's!
