I haven't done many Pilates DVDs, but of the ones I have done, my favorite is the MTV Pilates DVD with Kristen McGee. There's a half-hour upper-body/abs routine, a half-hour lower-body/abs routine, and a 10-minute whole-body routine.
this website has a full free pilates work out instruction session that is great if you can follow it off of your computer screen. no need to buy videos.
check out the other sessions on the site. there is more than just toning your legs

hope this helps
denise austen, though she looks and sounds like she is completely out of her mind, has a really good pilates dvd
Denise Austin is really good for beginners. Helps with balance and strength. Windsor Pilates is good once the others seem to be getting a little easy.
go with Windsor babe. Esp the butt/thighs one. love it! Good luck
The Pilates for Life series with Amy Brown is pretty good. I like the All Over Body and Pilates with the Ball the Best. They are only 20 minutes long, but are relatively cheap.
the 10 Minute Solution pilates are REALLY good. if you do all 5 sections on the DVD you'll really feel like you've worked hard.
I found the Gaiam series of pilates DVDs very well done. They are the closest I have come to going to a in-person Stott Pilates program.
I'd also say go with Windsor Pilates. She's one of the few that actually does the REAL pilates exercises.
I also like Denise Autin's Pilates for Everybody, but 1/2 of it isn't really pilates...
It would absolutely be worth your money to hunt down a good pilates studio and take some classes. There's a world of difference between just doing the exercises and doing them correctly. Good luck! :)
i know the Winsor pilates videos look like total fads but they're actually really great! i love them and they give great results if you do them regularly.
Denise Austin is very good - Pilates Whole Body workout. You will see a difference in a very short period of time.
