anybody ever try FucoThin?
it sounds good to me, but i wanted to know if anyone else tried it and got results? Dr. Mercola endorses it
On day 3 and day 4 from about 6 pm til about 9-10 I flushed. Feels a bit like a hot flash just longer. So, I ASSUME the Fucoselean is working properly. ;) I'm on day 5 now and have lost 1 pound. More updates as I have them. :)
LadyBug
LadyBug, I haven't had flushes at all, but I think I remember reading that someone else did.
I haven't posted anything lately because I've had nothing to report. No weight loss for about a month in spite of the fact that I've held to very good eating, well below the 1800 that fucothin recommmends, and I've been on the treadmill for 40-50 min a day except when I had horrible bronchitis. Kind of discouraging.
Did anyone else have this happen? I've only lost 13 lbs. since Jan.1, and 3-4 of those keep coming back and I lose them again.
Advice, anyone?
Hi, I am new to the forum and just started taking FucoThin yesterday and was wondering if everyone is still having good results. Also, is anyone still using a phase 2 blocker with FucoThin and which one?
Welcome, meljem. And way to go, luv2diet! I haven't lost any more weight, so I upped the dose to 3 3x a day a week ago. So far no effect, but I'm hopeful. I am getting smaller though. Can wear more jeans I haven't worn in a long time. Still on the treadmill 40-50 min/day and eating about 1200-1500 cal a day. No sugar, white carbs. I haven't a clue why I'm not losing more weight. It's frustrating, but I'm not giving up. (I've lost 13 lbs. since Jan. 1)
Feedback, anyone? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
hello ! I have been reading up on fucothin, and have been taking the pills for about 7 weeks, 1 pill 3 times a day. I am "excited ", to have found this site, and to be able to converse, with others, taking this product also. I am 55 years old. I have a hard time with the belly area. I would like to know, if anyone can help me, does each person, lose at different rate and do you lose inches, before really seeing the pounds drop? I really like the information you women, give out on this product, and how it works with you.
I have wonder why, it takes 6 to 8 weeks, to begin to work...my guess is that it would take this long, to possibly, build up in your body...as my metabolism has probably been slow for awhile....!!
when did most of you really begin to notice the effects, and did this help you with appetite control and cravings....I am thinking mine is a little better in this area, just wanted check it out with you all...if so, I hopes this keeps doing this for me.......I have seemed to notice the belly fat under my belly button a little smaller, is that true for any of you?....I hope, the longer I am on this, it sure continues to work there.!!!!
thanks to all of you !! and please continue the "up-dates" for people like me.....I really look at them and it can really help us.!!!

I continued with a lo calorie diet along with the fucothin.
But I was taking 2-3 pills at each mealtime. So, I went thru a bottle quite fast.
Hope that helps *I am 52 and I have had problems dieting as well. Good luck to you pam.
I am 47 and took fucoxanthin for about four months as part of a calorie restrictive diet with increased exercise. I lost 40 pounds - more importantly my waste went from 42 inches to 34.5 and my body fat went from an obese 26% to a fit 17%.
I can't give all the credit to fucoxanthin, but between the 5th and 10th weeks I had dramatic waste reduction. I recently stopped the fucoxanthin and I am not experiencing any rebound effects.
I did not experience any adverse side effects.
thanks for your response, I am glad to be with a few women my age...strikez...I am wondering was there a certain reason you stop taking the fucothin ? did you notice the inches first, then the weight loss? and are you saying that a dramatic reduction in your waist was kinda all at once? Because sometimes I can get a little discouraged thinking...that maybe this is all I will lose around the belly...but as you say ...it was up to the 10th week..and I am about 7 weeks into this.
what a great sucess you have had....!! how many pills were you taking per day?
luv2dieto7 thank you for your encouragement....are you still taking fucothin? and does inches seemed to come off all over your body...?
also some sites have said that, while on this product, there skin even seemed smoother and tighter.....what do you think?
did or does this product seemed to help with with appetite and cravings?
thanks to all!!!! pam
I stopped because I was close to my goal - I took the three a day and I am a male. The reduction was fastest over those weeks - weight loss was steady.
I'm glad y'all have had good response. I'm in the 13th week of taking fucothin, and I'm still at a standstill. I'm doing everything right, but my body just isn't responding like it's supposed to. I shouldn't be surprised, really, it has always been this way. I had just hoped for a better response with the fucothin. I will keep trying and hope for it to really kick in like it did for strikez. I do realize that men seem to lose easier than women. I'm also 60, which makes it even more difficult. I might cut back to 3 a day because the 9 a day doesn't seem to improve anything and it's dang expensive.
Good luck, everybody. I'll keep checking in.
News on Fucoxanthin:
Its advertising claims were challenged and found to be valid by an independent panel.
http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/garde n-of-lifes-top-selling,336215.shtml
ERSP, the electronic direct-response industry's self-regulatory forum, is administered by the Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB) with policy oversight by the National Advertising Review Council. (NARC) In response to an anonymous competitive inquiry, the ERSP reviewed Garden of Life's advertising claims for fucoTHIN, currently the number one selling product in the natural products industry according to SPINSSCAN. (January 26, 2008)
Following a review of the Company's print advertising and web site, the ERSP concluded that Garden of Life provided a reasonable basis for general performance claims, stating the product is a non-stimulant that burns fat without stimulating the central nervous system, and is a dual action formula that burns fat while providing antioxidant cellular protection.
That's good news. Thanks for letting us know about it, strikez.
hello all, I am close to my 8th week on fucothin...3 pills per day.....it goes kinda slow with the weight loss and inches....but I want to keep it up, as some has stated it, it can take longer...............I guess I get too excited, and want it to hurry...but they say...losing weight at a slower pace is really the heathy way...
I am pleased what I have loss, I had blood work done with my last physical check-up and my trig. and chol. was up.......my doctor explained...I need to excersise....and watch the fat in my diet....he wants me to set small goals and lose 5 to 10 pounds...then 5 to 10 more...total around 20....so far I have lost 10lb....!!! I am to go back in june for another blood work up....
I hope to have the other 10lbs. off !!! And a great "lower" blood work-up !!! I have prayed for God to help me...and I really found out about...fucothin by chance..at my excersise class...a magazine was given out called, "garden of life"...and I checked into the product and began it...God has really helped me...!
I have a question....do any of you know if "fucothin"..can also ...thin your blood somewhat? I read this on some sites, on the internet, as I am to have a colon test...I a wondering if I should stop this for about a week or so before the test...
bare with me....I really look at what you say.....as you are actually users of "fucothin"...as I am......has any of you been put on "fucothin" by your "doctor"....or even had a "dortor"...to suggest that you try this?
I realize, more than likely...if I mention this to my family doctor he will probably say, he can't say , because if this is not FDA approved........so I would be taking this at my own risk...even if this seems safe and good for you...
what about anybody else? I am also on 1/2 bood pressure pill per day....
thanks to all of you !!!!!.....sorry this was so long....
I have answered your questions, and put them in a BOLD text.

I use fucothin but not daily. It was my own decision, no doctor suggested that I try Fucothin.

I suppose there can be a risk of sensitivity or allergy to anything. I have not had any and I began Fucothin in August, 2007.
So how's everyone doing? It takes persistence and work, doesn't it? I finally have lost another two pounds this week after a 2 month plateau when nothing happened, scale-wise. (That's a total of 15 lbs. since January 1.) I think it's because I stepped up my exercise by increasing speed on the treadmill and adding a walking/exercise band CD to my day. I've had to work up slowly because of a surgery, but I'm building strength and stamina!
Has anyone signed up with the Perfect Weight America website? Is it helpful? I haven't read the book yet, but I keep reading about people who got free copies at a health food store. Mine doesn't do that; wish it would!
I know others have had much better results than I have, but at least I'm losing weight and feeling healthier; much more energy. I'm eating carefully, still 1200-1500/day, making every calorie count. I'm determined that this is my year to lose the weight (about 70 lbs to go---scary!) and get healthy. I've been tempted to throw in the towel but the result of doing that is unthinkable, so....onward and downward with the fat!!
I have to say, after being on Fucothin since Sept 15, it hasn't produced lasting results for me. I lost 8 pounds in the fall and regained them and more since January. I am still taking 3 pills a day - it seemed to help in the beginning and I have a hope that it may kick in again. Although I switched to the Garden of Life version in January, I don't think that has anything to do with it.
Has anyone else had mediocre to neutral results? I notice also that the much awaited research was never publish in Dec as promised.
I'm underwhelmed personally, but very happy it has given you all good results!
Yodelmar, I'm so sorry you haven't had better results from the fucothin plan. Some folks seem to have a pretty easy time losing weight with it, but others of us have to really be careful about food intake as well as daily exercise. I wouldn't say the weight that I've lost has just fallen off me---I've had to work it off, and I still have a long, daunting way to go.
You might want to try 2 pills 3x a day to see if it jump starts anything. I did the 3 at a time, but nothing happened and for me it's not worth the $$. I'm doing 2 at a time now. I'm about the last person to give advice about what to do to get going again. I'm always the one asking that question!
You can read the community forums at the Perfect Weight America website. Maybe that would encourage you? Good luck, and don't give up!
