anybody ever try FucoThin?

Quote  |  Reply
it's made by Garden of Life. this is what the web site says: fücoTHIN is a natural, whole food based supplement that is made with a proprietary concentration of fucoxanthin combined with pomegranate seed oil, for a patent-pending formula that is naturally thermogenic. fücoTHIN has been studied by leading scientists for many years and is the only formula that has human clinical research to confirm its thermogenic effect.

it sounds good to me, but i wanted to know if anyone else tried it and got results? Dr. Mercola endorses it

Hi everyone. I have loved reading all the posts. I started Fucothin yesterday. I am 5'8 and as of January 5th, I weighed 178lbs. I started counting calories (i have a portable machine and I log religiously) and am 163 now. I have been at this weight for almost 2 weeks which is odd for me because I was losing 2lbs a week before this. So i obviously hit a platua (or started to retain water). Anyway, I am taking this product to see if I can get under 163. My goal is 150.

I saw fucothin online and bought three bottles two weeks ago. I'm already seeing my weight drop. I've lost 4 pounds.

Hi

I have been on Fucothin  for over 2 months now. With a thyroid problem and aged 50, it was difficult to lose weight. I have lost 15 pounds, maintaining 1300 calories and work out 3-4 times a week for 45 minutes. I feel wonderful. I have not experienced any side effects. Like other posts, if you do not watch what you eat (refined flour, low fat, calorie restriction) AND workout, you will not lose weight and even more important, keep it off. You have to work at this. Give the product time... it does work.

Hi -- I went to a Whole Foods store in our area and asked the salesperson if there was a product on the market that was safe and would help suppress my appetite.  He recommended Fucothin, hands down.  I have been on it for one week and I only take one a day along with my multivitamin, Biotin for my thinning hair (hey guys this really works), and a cod liver oil pill for my skin.  It is true you have to watch your diet and exercise but I don't feel as hungry as I used to.  I'll wait the six weeks and see what happens.  I do have a bit more energy although that's not what the pill is designed for.  I feel great and I would recommend it.

Hi I just joined and I am amazed at the encouragement you guys give eachother, I was tearing up when I read Strikez and luv had lost 40 and 30 lbs. I am SO happy for you guys! I have been trying to go to a gym for the past few yrs. and as anyone w/ kids would understand, there's always something that "comes up" to stop you from going. Well, I lost 12 lbs. w/ a hCg shot and it worked, but I had A LOT of side effects, like becoming an "ogre" to my family, almost bi polar. Crazy! Anywho, I stopped and kept it off-for a few weeks. Then, some friends came down to visit and I GAINED IT ALL BACK! We were aeting at like 2 am and going to sleep on a full belly. So I am desperate to get "back on the horse". I will try fucothin, been wanting to, but something always comes up;) I will buy it this weekend-got a $5 coupon on the GOL website.

Thanks for all the encouragement! I will keep coming back

Started today!

Looks like this may be the official Fucothin site!

I started a few days ago because I liked what the research said about how it increases fat-burning in white fat. Brown fat I'm ok with but white fat needs to go! I'm curious if any others have actually noticed themselves feeling "hotter." I saw some posts here about that and I find it very interesting and a more convincing way of knowing if it's doing anything. I seem to be out of touch with my body and can't tell if I'm feeling hot due to changes in physiology or merely because I have no A/C! I have lost weight in the last 4 days with diet, exercise and vitamins so I can't pinpoint anything right now.

Also, does anyone notice a particular slimming effect on the abdominal area?

Overnight ketosis by any chance? Yes I've had that and I eat carbs. It's only when I wake up.

I'm also going to look around for studies that detail dosage. If anyone has some, please post!

Hi Everyone,

What an interesting string of posts.  I tried Fucothin earlier this summer, but had to stop because it upset my stomach.  Has anyone else experienced this?  The 1st day I just wasn't hungry and I thought that was great because that would help with portion size and snacking.  The 2nd day I felt a little nauseous, but since I had already lost a pound I thought I could manage.  And even on the 3rd day when the nausea was worse I was still hanging in because I had lost yet another pound.  But then I was really disappointed when on the 4th day, the stomach problems were just not manageable and I stopped taking it.  I was only taking 1 pill 3x daily.  I thought about starting up again but maybe skipping the morning dose, thinking it might be bad on an empty stomach.  Well, I started again a couple days ago (only 1 pill) and after taking 1 pill 3 times yesterday, my stomach problems returned.  I'm so upset because I have never tried a diet pill before and since this was something natural to help burn fat, I wanted to give it a try.  Maybe I should start again slower with only 1 pill per day.  If I still lose weight it would be a great way to save money.

Hopefl I don't know if it's true, but it seems like you may not be eating it with food. I only eat it in the middle of my meal along with a big glass of water. In general, eating any pill by itself (especially on an empty stomach) makes me feel gross.

Hi, Just wanted to add my two cents.  I am going to start on Fucothin. I have tried EVERYTHING for several years knowiing my cortisol levels were high(stressed adrenals) and low functioning thyroid...which doesnt register on blood tests but other ways.  All part of pre/menopause.  I have spoken with many women and they seem to have this additional 10 pounds (mine is 15) or so they cannot shed with calorie restriction and exercise.  I do both and have been an athlete all my life so this is very hard.  I still run 5x week and limit calories with occasional cheats....like popcorn at the movies or a bi-monthly soda pop. Ive been on protein drinks, chromium and L-carnitine.  Did not try coconut oil and this is supposed to help thyroid function.  So, after years of different supplements I will try this.  Health food store people said they have heard good results, including one of the menopausal employees who has been on it for a couple months and is just seeing the true results.  Thanks for your comments!  I really think there is so much in the menopausal body that medicine does not address!

I know the one type of diet pill, can't think of the name off hand, but it used to be popular. However the way it worked was by constricting you blood vessels, making your body work harder. Not exactly healthy sounding. Ever since I heard that I've never trusted diet pills, who knows what other effects each one is having on your body even if it does help you lose weight.

Hello everyone.  Have been off the fucothin for awhile.  Holding at 136.

Will be ordering more soon just for the claims that it helps burn fat

around the middle!   Still eating organics, green super foods and

trying to get out to walk the dog!

Haven't had any reactions from taking fucothin.  Good luck with weight loss!!

ETA:  I am now a size 8.  I have NO idea how it happened?
