anyone age18-25 wanna lose 15-20lbs. lets start a group =]
heyyy everyone! i wanted to start a group for younger people...i have no problem talking to older people about weight but i think it would just be more fun and more understanding to talk to people with in my age range.so anyways i want to lose about 20 more pounds. Im so mad i gained 8lbs in a month! i wanna get it off. i cant seem to stop cheating on my diet...i pulled an all nighter with my best friends ben&jerry! blahhhh i wanna get down to 130 by like november or christmas! im areally motivated person i just need some support. so just join this grouppp. ill give everyone great advice =]
It seems like I'm never "off" a diet, just cheating on whatever one I'm on lol so I can relate to you there. I have a chocolate addiction, also peanut butter, I cant go a day without peanut butter, mmm.
I want to reach my goal before Christmas. I'm aiming for a 1-1.5 lbs a week. And I need to work out more!I've been good the last four days, so thats something. Whats working for me so far is drinking TONS of tea, green tea and Oolong tea. Plus still some coffee with soymilk and no-cal sweetener.
I'm sure there are lots more people in this age/goal range on CC. Every age group has its own challenges.... the thing that bothers me is I know my metabolism is only going downhill from here on, so I feel like this is the time in my life where I should be my thinnest, my physical peak, and I'm not there.

sarah-you and i have something in common...peanut butter!!!!!!!!! <3 lol i want to reach my goal around mid november or christmas time. everyone says that when your young your metabolism is the fastest...and they say it better to get in shape when your younger too rather then do it when your older. im dying to be 130 again...i need all the help i can gettt.whats your diet like?

I guess I would fit in the group, 18yr 5'6" 150lbs i just cant seem to shake the 15 or so lbs i want off, all the while still building muscle =[ gets frustrating some times

as far as my diet, im trying to follow my dieticians recommendations: 5-6 servings grains (mostly whole grains), 7+ fruits and veg (i love dried fruit bars, V8, carrots, bell peppers, and tomatoes), 2 soymilks (i dont eat dairy, light soymilk is only 60-70 cals a cup! less than nonfat milk! i like light vanilla flavour), and 3 proteins (tofu, beans, or nuts/nut butter.) I'm a recovering bulimic, and when i firsted started seeing my dietician I followed the food guide, didnt count cals, went to the gym 3-6 times a week, and lost weight steadily and easily. So Im trying to get back to that!
I get trapped in the "Tomorrow I'm going to diet so strictly and perfectly, as of tomorrow I'll never eat chocolate/candy/bread/pasta/etc again, so I better eat ALL those things tonight and enjoy them one last time!". The problem is, I never stick to it the next day! So I'm trying to take it one day at a time, just eat healthy today and not make rigid plans for the future.
