Has anyone had allergy shots that have helped with asthma?

I have a huge problem with asthma. I recently did allergy testing and found that I am moderately allergic to a lot of different things but nothing terribly bad. Has anyone had allergy shots and did they help?  If you have asthma as well, have the shots helped with the seriousness of your asthma? 

I did have shots many years ago. I did not complete the total round, though getting them for a few years.

I never found allergy shots to help with asthma. Cardio, though, did positive wonders.
