Does anyone also use Twitter to track?
Calorie Count is great... but I was just reading that some people have used Twitter to track their calories. Does this work?
I'm new to Calorie Count, and I am trying to find the best method for me. Currently, I really like calorie count aside from the fact that the mobile aspect does not let me TRACK my calories, only look up values.
I use Twitter but I haven't heard of this. Do you know how it works? How are they tracking it exactly?
I'd imagine twitter only works through accountability - telling lots of people how you're doing. I'd probably lose weight faster/better if I had to get up every morning and tell 500+ strangers my progress.
I use twitter to track what I eat because I don't have time to like stop and write it down so I just shoot a text to that twitter than write it all down at night. I also vent on how I really want that candy bar...but I shouldn't eat it haha.
im addicted to twitter but i use it for social purposes.. although i will vent also on the crap i see at work or the candy bar i also want haha :)
I'm checking out the fb "My Diet" application...a very light version for tracking so far, but seems okay. You won't get your nutritional grade and details but it does track macronutrients and calories.
BTW, if you have an internet capable phone you can bypass the pda page and get to the real page which works fine except for journal entries.
