Me!!! I see 30 coming fast!!! I am 5'7, and want to lose 10 lbs by the end of February :0

I'm a gemini, and want to get to a size 10 or 12 by 30! (currently size 18)

Btw, I just don't feel like an *almost* 30 year old.  When do you start to feel like a "grown-up"???

77 too! Taurus here...

Down to size 10 from 12, goal for new years, 8lbs...total goal 23 more and some more sizes. I love to exercise and love to eat. The calorie restriction is the tough part for me. Does anyone allow them selves "cheat days"?

It would be nice to be thinner for "The BIG Day".

My sister's baby is 2.5 months younger than my youngest son and she is 31 now. She looks soooooooo good. She has worked hard to look soo good. ( Plus she has the $$$ to spend on herself when needed ) So I'm sure that helped.

I would love to fit right in size 16 jeans. Thats just my small goal.

Short term goals are good.  Right now it's just "maintain until after finals" (I'm in graduate school, almost done!). 

After that, my first goal is 175 lbs (I'm 5'9.5", hovering around 208 now).

Two years ago was hoping to be thin by 30.  I think I'll just... change my bday to 1977 & have a new go.
That's ok, I'm thinking of changing my birthday to 1980, LOL ;)

Good news though, I thought I was heavier than I really am! I decided Dec 1 I was going to get serious about weight loss, and found this site yesterday, and put my weight in as 210 for starting.  Got on the scale this morning for the first time in a long time, and it said 202.5...i re-did it three times just to be sure! I had gotten down to 189 on Atkins a year ago, but seriously fell off the bandwagon.  I don't think that's a very realistic way of eating anyway.  I'm now trying a combo of healthy eating, low sugar, good carbs only, and since I found this site, i guess I'll start counting calories! I have my daily calories set for 1300 to meet my goal of 125 by Dec 3 07, we'll see how that goes, and if I have to up it some, from what I read 1300 is pretty low.  I am not really fixated on the number of pounds I am, I really want to be about a size 8 ( i have a big butt and hips and thighs, it's always been like that) My normal adult size is usually a 12 but I went through a depression where I put on 40 pounds two years ago and can't seem to shake them.  I was ok with being a size 12, at least I didn't feel fat like I do now. I've also been getting motivated by that doctor Oprah's been having on recently.
