anyone having cravings? I found something that helps

Hi There!

I don't know if anyone has heard of this or tried it, but I have been taking cinnamon with chromium supplements. I found them in walgreens and I swear they help with my appetite and cravings. it is Cinnamon 2000, with chromium picolinate. I don't know if anyone else out there has tried it.

All I know is that my triglycerides have dropped from 332 to 173 in 1 year. My Dr. told me to keep doing what I am doing! I don't know if the cinnamon had anything to do with that, but I haven't changed much else and I only joined this site in june so it might be worth a try if you are struggling with cravings and appetite issues. of course if you have any health conditions, you should check with your Dr. but I told my doc about it and she gave me the thumbs up.Laughing

Hi

No, it was actually the chromium picolinate you have been taking that dropped your

triglycerides down, I was at 299 two months ago and started a very strict exercise routine and totally changed the way I eat and so far have lost 16 pounds since Aug, 12, 2009. My goal is to loose another 40 pounds. I currently weigh 203. I went to Goggle and performed a search on  cinnamon 2000 and here is what they said :Creates a thermogenic burn. It reduces cholesterol levels – in particular, lowering bad cholesterol while leaving good cholesterol the same. It is cinnamon’s effect on blood sugar that makes it a potential help in the war against obesity, insulin resistance, sometimes known as "prediabetes," and the "Metabolic Syndrome." Cinnamon can be used in its powdered or stick form, adding it to drinks and foods, or as a supplement. A different web site did mention it also helps with cravings!

Good luck

Mike
