Anyone doing SLIM IN 6?
I found Slim in 6 to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned! I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent. I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time! Anyone doing it, or about to start it? I am ready for the 6 week challenge. I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works! I have seen results firsthand! I need a buddy!
I still can't eat up the whoe 6 egg whites :/ Actually something you may want to consider in regard to the diet plan: That plan is made for what standard weight? That is, the total calorie needs for a person weighing 145-155 lbs (which usually is used as the standard weight for calorie burn chart etc) is not going to be the same for 120-130 lbs person. I am curious if you chart the diest plan on the CC tools see how much calories it adds up to?
Just a thought, since there is a mention about gaining :)
Oh yeah, I also gained weight since I started working out and eating right, but only several pounds and I think it's just muscles. Because the inches are going down. :)

Girls, last two days I did not do any exercise! I will work today, but I took a holiday! I hate myself, but I think I needed it. Tomorrow I will receive my Billy's Boot Camp videos, but my friend already told me I won't have the resitance bands here either (by either I mean I did not have them for Si6, but some 5 lbs dumbbells did the work)! I did not ask her why. And next month I will recevie the Turbo Jam as well, so I guess I will mix Si6 with Boot Camp first and then add some TJ. Tell me I'm not crazy to mix them like that...
And speaking of workout....how's your training, girls?

I am right there with you Monica. I did not exercise this past weekend, I slept during the day because I had a sitter for the girls, (the USMC owned my husband this weekend) and actually had some overtime at work so that made my overnight shift even longer... ewww! But I survived it. I did a few minor things while at work, things I can do without looking like a goofball or waking my clients parents.
I lost 8 lbs in 2 months. Not a huge loss but gradual is better for me because it is more like a lifestyle change rather than a diet. It will still drop because I am still active/exercising. Like I posted before the weight/number is minor to me as long as results are visible and measurements do show results. I am starting this week to up my protein intake, limiting the carbs... or at least try to.

Was fun. I said I am up to train her again, but she needs to set up time.

I got a bit of a tummy ache though (felt yucky like I was about to puke) from eating a left over sushi (it is cooked not raw) from the day before.
Today, I really want to do a full BIU. Been neglecting it for TJ (because hubby likes to do the Turbo Sculpt).

I completed RIU again yesterday...husband still doing SIU - I haven't tried BIU yet. I'm moving into week 5. I really wish I had measured myself at the beginning. I'm going to try and do that today. I haven't lost any weight but definately feel much toner. I'm not going to let this plateau win over me...I'm going to see it though and I want to feel the pounds melt off of me.

I am still STARBUCK FREE! I mentioned going a couple times over the weekend...but didn't! I'm very proud of myself.
I am beginning to have very sore knees - this has never happened to me before. I'm definately watching my form and don't seem to have a problem with that. Any advice? Geez - walking down my stairs in the morning is a killer.

I just did 55 min of Boot Camp (Ultimate) It was sweaty! I had a light breakfast and felt burnt out half way through it, almost like I was going to puke... so I stopped and went outside for a minute... something about fresh air! I finished it up and then proceeded to do Six Pack. Now I am sipping my protein shake that I put frozen mango in... delish! After I shower hopefully the baby will be awake and maybe we can take a walk before the big chill sets in! It is going to be 5 degrees tomorrow nevermind the windchill... brrr! Poor hubbie works outside!

julie - make sure 1200 cal a day is not too low for you ... especially you are doing routine exercise like this. I know I eat at least 1300-1400 when I am doing that until now (for exercising almost everyday). :)
I started SIU yesterday...wow was I sore today. I am very excited to see results. I am using my own diet (limiting my calories). My boyfriend and I made a bet that if I lost 10 pounds in 6 weeks, that he would quit smoking. I am up to the challenge. I love reading all your comments, they motivate me. Way to go!

mmljulie - Congrats on being STARBUCKS FREE!!! That is amazing, I mean.. they are on every freakin' corner.. THERE'S ONE IN MY TARGET!! I was sore the first two days.. that I found the slim and limber option which gives you such a great stretch before and after you work out.. so I don't hurt as much as I use do.. and I'm up to RIU now! Woot Woot.

sweet_tart - You're a freakin' monster @.@. I reduced back down to SIU twice a day, cause RIU about killed me! Hopefully by the end of this week, my legs and arms will get use to it.. so I can. . RAMP IT UP!!! YEAH!!!!
MLO Protein shakes. I bought it on Amazon because it is alot cheaper there than it is to buy it at my food store. It is packed with amino acids. Better than my husbands EAS whey protein... google it, see what you think.

Ladies, I just started the Boot Camp(remember my plan of mixing Si6 with Boot Camp and with TJ later on?). I discovered I have muscles I haven't knew of. I think I make them appear only to give me muscular pain! I remembered about my first days of SIU, only it's much worst. The pain itself is smaller, but on larger "amounts" of muscle and it seems to be the type that lasts forever!

pie - FYI, I was doing SIU for about a week. That is 7 times and not even everyday. Since it was only 25min I still have time and energy to do cardio either before or after for another 30 min or so. Once I was comfortable and felt good about the movement then I moved on to RIU. Again, I was not doing this everyday as well, especially since it was around holiday season. I was still able to mix cardio with RIU back to back, although only about 20min or so. After 2 weeks or about, I tried BIU. First time it was like WTH!!!! I was sore and out of breath. To top it off the whole fast pace is 60 min! There was no way I could do cardio after that or back to back with that. So, I went back to RIU, only to find that since I got a taste of BIU, RIU seems like 'eh' :) Off to BIU again.
Now, I got used to BIU and I could do 2 routines still nnot back to back, but spacing them about 2 hrs or one in the morning and one in the evening.
Are you trying to do RIU 2x in a day like you did SIU? Not saying that you won't be able to handle it. You could, but in the beginning you may want to just do it once a day. Also, I can't say if 2 SIU a day is enough or not. It depends on the individual. :)

I just completed day 12 of Si6 and I finally got all the way through RIU (had trouble with the bicycle section of abdominals) and I noticed that each day I am burning more and more calories.
Day 1 was 289
Day 5 was 324
Day 11 was 389
This means I am getting stronger and my endurance is improving. I just love this series!

I BOUGHT IT I BOUGHT IT! Still have 5-7 days to get it, but at least it's on its way! Okay so I have 60 pounds to lose (I've lost 94 on my own), so i'm eager to burn the rest of this YUCK off of me. I'm planning on sticking to my own diet, but I know my calories will have to be upped. Lets do this together. Cant wait.
