I found Slim  in  6  to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned!  I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent.  I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time!  Anyone doing it, or about to start it?  I am ready for the 6 week challenge.  I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works!  I have seen results firsthand!  I need a buddy!

Exercise Diet Plan1
My waist has shrunk!  Loving it!  Did the Boot Camp (cardio and abs=1 hour) today, tomorrow it will be RIU.  It is incredible!

Congrats on getting SI6!  6 weeks to a better you!  Go for it!
aly the amazing shrinking woman! *clap* ^_^b So happy for you! keep it up!
sweet_tart: got it! Thank you very much! Like you said: it's good to see I am eating very close to what I am suppose to eat....

Today I'll go back to RIU and some abs from Boot Camp. I have a day off from the office so I'll do a lot of cleaning and cooking and things like that. I think I will exercise all day long one way or another...LOL
Hi ladies I am stressed out right now... see my journal, I dont want to rant about it here...

I am going to put the fear and anxiety into positive energy.  Going to BIU and probably clean, and then clean some more!  Fun huh?

Sounds like everyone is doing great!  I am proud to say I am down 9 lbs since Jan 7th.  Sounds like a slow start but you should see the transformation my body has made!  That reminds me, I will get a photo up soon, will put on one of my bikinis I bought for Punta Cana!  Oh I got my passport today!  YIPPY!  I will let you all know when I finally get around to the pic...

Hi Everyone,

I've been doing SIU and RIU off and on for the past 3 weeks and have really seen some great changes...my question is, should I be doing it everyday like suggested or am I okay doing it every second day? The book said something about not bulking up because you're doing it 6 days/week...will I bulk up by not following it this way?

Thanks, Miranda
I think it is a matter of what your body will tolerate.  I have been doing RIU for 1 week and just started BIU today.  I have been doing it daily with Sunday as a day off.

I just took my measurements and am astounded after 13 days!
I have dropped 2 inches in my waist and 1.75 in my thighs!
aly - I can see your situation stressing you out, but I want to commend you on your attitude. You are so positive. Keep that up. You are a smart woman and strong. You know what you should do. So I am sure you will get through this just fine. Focus on the happy thoughts, like Punta Cana :)

anxious - 1.75"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so jelez... :O Thighs are my big (literally) issue LOL. You are going to drive me working out no stop again :p Good job! ^_^b

monix - yor velkom :D
BUT remember Sweet_tart that I have pretty large thighs too!
anxious  wow that is wonderful!

sweet thanks for the support!

I was 140 this morning... so close to breaking into the 130's.  Haven't been there in a few years.  I think when I hit 135 I am making an appointment for a body massage, rewarding myself.
woot woot... I am going to hit my 35 in exactly a month from now :O :O :O ... self reward like a spa-massage mmm...... that would be so nice :)
ladies, I am rewarding myself with a massage every week! Even though this week I do not exactly deserve the reward! There's something strange: while I was doing Si6 I had no problem at all to keep the "restrictive" diet. When I hit the 42 day of Si6 I found myself...free of any restriction. Somehow, I can not help myself having a little bit of chocolate, some honey, some...I don't know! It's like my mind has gone completly mad and decides for me not to do what i am supposed to do. Can you sell me tips on how to overcome this? It's scary!
hey everyone....so i'm almost done my 2nd week of SI6 and i'm having trouble staying motivated....i'm sticking to my south beach diet and doing the workouts consistently (only 1 day off each week when necessary) but i don't feel like i'm getting the results i should be!  I realize i'm only about 1/3 of the way through, but it's still frustrating!  when did everyone else start to see results etc?  some motivation would be GREATLY appreciated!  thanks!  hope to hear how everyone else is doing as well....
monix - restrictive diet ain't working for me. Just because the very word itself "restrictive" is choking me. So I do eat out and have some snacks every week. As long as you do it only 1 day (or 2), you will be fine :) Just hop on the treadmill or start jumping jack again every time the crave hits during the week.

I managed to do BIU for 30min this morning. I was out of wind and energy. So I stopped and had breakfast. .. I still need to catch up on my rest ; ; ...

jess - as you workout your need for food intake may need to be increased. Just FYI. When you say no result, what do you mean? No weight loss? no inches drop? or you do see it but just not as dramatic as you expect?
jess- unfortunately with any routine there is not instant results... ahh if it were only that easy!  I really did not see the results on the scale all that much but by week 3 I was toning up and seeing results in my measurements.  Did you take measurements?  I posted a guidline for them a while back,   I will add them here again...  I did the measurements every two weeks.  I just was looking for my paper I wrote it on and my husband said... "oh that? I threw that away... the baby spilled water on it."  I asked if he rewrote the measurements...  umm NO,  so now I had to start over again!  I put it in a file in the computer now... so it will never be ruined again!  MEN!

1. Bust: Don't squish yourself -- measure all the way around your bust and back right at your nipple line, and make sure the tape measure is not lower.

2. Chest: Measure under your breasts but as high up as you can go, keeping the tape measure parallel to this line when you reach it around your back.

3. Waist: Measure wherever it is the smallest (if you have "no waist" go around yourself right at the navel line).

4. Hips: Measure at the very biggest part -- even if that is so low that you are almost on the top of your thighs.

5. Midway: Measure midway between the very biggest part of your hips and your waist.

6. Thighs: Measure wherever they are the biggest.

7. Knees: Measure right above the knee.

8. Calves: Measure wherever they are the biggest.

9. Upper arm: Measure wherever they are biggest above your elbows.

10. Forearms: Measure wherever they are biggest below your elbows

Give this a try.  Walmart sells the measuring tapes for about a buck in the crafts section.
Where is everyone?? I want updates!
I am thinking about starting the Slim in 6.  I've read all the post, but, I'm scared of failing another diet.  Is it just money wasted?
thanks everyone!  yeah i definitely took measurements at the beginning but haven't seen any changes in them yet....i guess my biggest frustration is that in the summer i did south beach diet and lost a LOT of weight (10-15 lbs in 2 weeks and have kept it off so it wasn't all water weight...yay!) and didn't do exercise...but now i'm doing south beach and SI6 and not really losing!  but i just saw the SI6 infomercial and my motivation is kinda coming back up....does anyone know what the express program is???  how on earth are people losing up to 10 inches in 6 days???  (mine is from a friend so i didn't get all of the papers etc. with it unfortunately!)  anyway if anyone could give me a run down of the express program that would be GREATLY appreciated!  thanks!  keep up the good work everyone!  2 more workouts and i'll be done my 2nd week!  yay!  can't wait to move on to burn it up!  :)
Hello Everyone! I just ordered Slim in 6 and am anxiously waiting for it in the mail.  Hopefully it comes this week (probably not)! Anyway, I'm fairly fit (5'6" & 125 lbs), but when I don't work out and diet (mostly in the winter time), I get a lot of cellulite in my thighs, mostly starting from just above my knees, and my legs and butt seem to gain a lot of fat (jiggly).  I have a problem ONLY with my lower abs.  I can almost suck in my upper abs into muscles, but my abs looks very unbalanced with all the extra fat on my lower belly.  Also my butt needs some serious raising.  So I guess what I'm asking is, can a person who's 26 years old in ok shape accordingly to height and weight get serious results in 6 weeks from Slim in 6 like everyone seems to be getting??
Week 2 completed today!  Man, I feel good and I am at the point where I look forward to working out.

After doing BIU for one session I dropped back to RIU and will stay there for awhile.  I have such a sense of accomplishment and the results are definitely showing!

How can I make walking fun?

You have to find a way to make exercise fun or else you won't do it. If you walk indoors on a treadmill, I recommend moving outdoors into the fresh air... Read more
