Anyone doing SLIM IN 6?
I found Slim in 6 to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned! I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent. I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time! Anyone doing it, or about to start it? I am ready for the 6 week challenge. I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works! I have seen results firsthand! I need a buddy!
I need a swift kick! Got back from vacation Tuesday night and the days on the beach have ruined me! I have not had the motivation to push play and here it is Thursday. I got TJ which was waiting for me when we got back and can't even find the motivation to plug that in.
Cmon anxious! Move your tush! Pump It Pump It Shake It Shake It! :D
Just pop that TJ and do the 20 minute workout. It's fast and before you know it you are done.

anxious1 - think about where you were before you started - all the progress you've made...Do you really want to start from the beginning again? Yuck - that would be horrible. Summer hasn't even arrived yet...We've still got some time/fat to burn!!!
I have made it to about week 9 - still been hanging in there with RIU. Starting Monday I'm going to alternate RIU/BIU so that I'm not so afraid of BIU.
I FINALLY made it one pound below my plateau that i've been at for 1 year...THAT's HUGE. I'm really excited to see if my body understands that Yes - i'm serious and NO - i'm not starving...so let it shed off now. I'm not going to weigh myself for another couple weeks - I think BIU coming in will be a big push in keeping under that plateau.
Good luck everyone and have a nice weekend.

Just got back from yet another traveling. How is everyone doing? Anxious, did you get out of your slack-mode yet? I totally know how you feelin. All these traveling totally whacked out our routine. And it is annoying! Well, only one way to remedy it. Just go back on track. :)
Starting slow today doing 30 min cardio on bike.

I just started cc and I am doing SI6. Is anyone still doing this program? I can't seem to drop my weight past a certian plateau point. I'm hoping doing the slim in 6 will help jumpstart me. I've read all of your motivting comments on this forum, and would like to become part of your group. I'm 23, 5'2", and 145 lbs :( I feel like you're only young once so you should make the most of it, and I just want to have a slim healthy body! Just finished start it up, but I'm still feeling like I need some motivation.
lyric - welcome :)
Remember to make sure you have enough calories in your body when you are doing this regiment. You will be working out almost everyday and you need to have enough fuel to burn and to maintain your body function. That is how you will get result, drop the weight and excess fat :)

I havent been that motivated this week either or shall i say last week on SI6 i think I need to rotate it with a few others so I dont get bored, THANKFULLY my lovely friend is burning me Hip Hop Abs & Turbo Jam I cant wait...
okay, so I've been basically reading most of the posts on here and people sound like they really like SI6. I'm new to this site and although it's probably an obvious answer.. Is it definitely worth the $70 or so for SI6?
I'm a poor college student and just want to make sure I don't get ripped off on something that wont work on me =)

swt trt- thanks for the advice! I've heard in the past that it's best to do your workouts in the morning on an empty stomach because you burn more actual fat off of your body then if you need to eat more of a breakfast to compensate for the calories you used then have a big breakfast! do you think this is true and should I continue with this regime that I'm doing now with doing the exercise in the morning before eating???
crazi- i think it's definitely worth it, i bought this program in college, although i didn't stick to it like i should, my friend has successfully lost 215 lbs doing si6 over the past 3 years and eating healthy, you just need to be up for the challenge, and I already feel super supported through this site, and i just joined last night!
anxious1 - I am with you, just got back from cruising to Cayman Island and Cozumel. I cannot get motivated at all and also had the SI6 waiting for me when I got back........I did the Start It Up tonight finally after 4 days off, and do feel better. It was just getting my butt back into my routine. GOOD LUCK!!!
crazy - check eBay. You may get better deal. (I didnt pay $70 for sure. Although I didnt get the booklet etc, I feel it is not crucial to the whole program)
lyric - It is best to do your workout during the time which you can sustain as a regular routine. Empty stomach or not depends on individuals. You burning calories anyway regardless you eat prior or after the workout.
I workout at night, after work, prior to dinner. If in the morning I usually have small breakfast then wait about 1 hr before I start. Those works for me. Experiment and see what routine best for you (and the one you can maintain)

i just finished my first round of slim in 6 ( really just 5 weeks instead of 6 because i missed a total of 7 unallowed days in the programs ) but my results were:
12 pounds lost
1 inch in each arm lost
2 1/2 inches in waist
2 1/2 hips
2 inches in each thigh
* and one pants size lost total
* without supplements so i look forward for my next results since i didnt start counting calories until my third week or so in the program....any others got stats? God bless

Anyone ever find it difficult to move on to harder workouts?? It's almost like I'm still sore from the SIU workout and I am petrified to move on to RIU. The videos also get longer as time goes on and I don't want working out to get longer! Any suggestions?
Way to go Juanslady!!! those results are awesome! I'm only on day 3 of this go round with slim in 6. I've already lost 1 lb! You give me so much motivation to keep going this time, and I need UMPH for sure :)
I have type II diabetes. I cannot workout on an empty stomach or I will go hypoglycemic. Not good. I usually eat a banana (carbs) 15 - 30 minutes before I start. Then I shower and have a protein/carb snack after (yogurt or fruit/nut combo)
Well, hello! I'm about to do the program. I wasn't sure if it would be the right thing for me (I'm obese), but since I got it for free, I might as well give it a try. I have tried Pilates, and it's so... QUIET. I need to feel motivated while I'm in pain, haha.
Anyhow, looking forward to seeing how different I will be after 6 weeks. I will definitely not be "slim", but with my current diet, I should definitely see a difference!
That's what I'm hoping!

thank you :) my goal is to lose at least another 10 with the program by the first week of may
scooter - i am not diabetic, but I do find that banana (potassium) or other low glycemic index food like apple, helps fule my energy during the workout. As the result I get more energy to put into the workout and last longer. :)
lyric - you don't have to move on to the next step if you are not ready. I did SIU 6 times (in a span of a week or so) before I move on to RIU. Do what is comfortable for you. If SIU still very challenging then you probably want to stay with it a couple times more. Remember to allow resting time so your muscle can rest and repair and build. :)
juanslady - way to go lady! ^_^b

Question for those of you who've had success - Did you just do the SI6 routines or did you do some other sort of regular exercise in addition?
For example, I have been walking/jogging for 2 miles a day and then doing RIU about 5 times a week.
