I found Slim  in  6  to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned!  I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent.  I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time!  Anyone doing it, or about to start it?  I am ready for the 6 week challenge.  I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works!  I have seen results firsthand!  I need a buddy!

Hey guys I'm new here and last night I finally got my SI6 delivered. I am starting today and I am really excited! I have already lost about 9 lbs and a little over 10 inches in the last 6 weeks by just exercising and eating healthier. I am looking to tone everything up. I am only 18 so I am doing this alone but I know I can do this! I can't wait to go home tonight and try it out!! I was reading everything everyone has posted and it is very encouraging! Thanks for getting me pumped up!!
I feel like I have been waiting for my SI6 to be delivered forever.  I hope it gets here today!!!!!

Hi everyone; I just received a copy of the dvds from a friend of mine. I am very excited to start on them tomorrow morning. Only thing is I don't have the diet plan that everyone is talking about. I was wondering if someone can please email it to me?

I have been reading everyone comments on the program. Thanks for the great advice. It sounds very exciting and I can't wait to start.

Thanks and good luck to everyone.

:)
Im soo excited to start !! .. sweet tart : thanks for all the encouraging posts !!! .. and also one question for you sweet tart , after the first 6 weeks of si6 how many inches did you cut of & how much did you lose? if you dont mind sharing that with me ! .. your pictures look great!
OK Where do you buy this SI6? Are they available at just any fitness stores or has to be As Seen on TV stores?
I just finished my second day of SI6! yay! SIU wasnt too hard for me so I think I am going to start RIU tomm. The only thing that is bothering me is the muscle right up above my left knee, it hurts pretty bad, but I do my excercises in the morning so hopefully it will recover a lil through the rest of the day *crosses fingers*
But besides that I am very excited about doing this and have been excercising a lil already now so I am kinda in the routine.
I took my pictues today and was NOT pleased with what I saw lol, so there is even more motivation, I  have about 15 pounds to lose but my main problem is my troubled spots... mainly my mid section (go away love handles lol), but thats what happens when you have 2 kids hehe.
Anyway I am rambling lol, everyone keep writting please, I love reading all the posts, it helps alot.

Hooray!  Just got my dvd's in the mail today.  Gomui, I bought mine off of Ebay.  I can't wait to start.  I always work out in the evenings, so I"m going to do this tonight.  =)
does anyone know how many calories SIU burns, i don't want to throw my body into starvation mode
Hi Everyone!! I'm new here!  I'm waiting impatiently for my slim in 6 to arrive and checking out this community for much needed inspiration!  I have about 40 pounds to lose (i'm 180 and 5'6) after struggling with severe alcoholism/addiction and depression.  After getting sober (for the past year) and starting on new antidepressants, i managed to put on about 25 pounds.  I'm hoping Slim in 6 will be a good way to get back in shape.  Glad to see it's working for so many others!

xoxo m
alright back on the horse again, did my SI6 this morning!!!!   woo hooo day 1!!!
"I totally zoned out Debbie, because I know the routine for RIU and got tired of her saying.. "This will shrink  your waist... RIGHT CHRIS?!" So know I just turn the DVD on for support and to always double check if my form is right."

LMAO XD that is totally how I feel! Yeah, I turned off the volume and crank up my playlist :)

christine -- Welcome, girl!! ^__^/ So glad you join us!

Gomui -- I got mine from ebay as well. But, as there are many bootlegs out there, if you happen to get one and don't have the instruction manual to go with it, go to my profile to see summary for SI6. If you need the diet plan I might still have it somewhere on my server (from a fellow SI6 forum member). the loink is actually in one of the post here... buried lol....

um.. do we have 2 Jessica here? :)

jessica90 -- I didn't measure my upper hip area (which was dumb of me) but I noticed my muffin top was pretty much gone, didn't buldge out of my jeans anymore when I stand up. Since I was not overweight, my inches reduction is not as drastic (as much as I would love to). I did shaved off 0.5" on my upper thighs - to me that is major!
All I know is that my shape is getting better & toned (with subtle muscle definition)
Weight? well, ^_^;; I gained! hahahaha... I always vary between 105-110. So I am not concern. That is my healthy intended weight.

I don't want to disillusion people that I was overweight when I started working out religiously. I was out of shape, yes, overweight, not really. Body Fat % however can be reduced and it is my goal. I never really use pounds as measurement (don't even have a scale at home), only use inches.

jhmomma -- if your knees hurting then take a day rest. It needs time to heal itself and be prepared for the next round. Still happens to me. So I usually take it easy on the lunges and do it at slightly slower pace than Debbie. Have a chair to lightly keep your balance while doing so is not detrimental to your result. I do split/static lunges instead of moving ones like she does. For the floor legworks, alternating your legs when they got really sore (starting to hurt) will help you push through the workout with a better form.

Ooh, I'm a bit sore.  I didn't notice until I decided to take the stairs instead of the elevator to the parking garage.  How do I log this in the activity log?  Aerobic activity?  I'm currently at maintenance (just reached my goal weight today, hooray!) so I want to make sure I'm eating enough.
hello all...well this is my fourth day doing SI6...I tried to do RIU tday but had to stop and go back to SIU. SIU isnt that hard but both the muscels above the knees are hurting pretty bad, so I did the whole excercise but like sweet_tart said and I took it easy on the lunges and did some alternate excercises instead, it helped alot..thank you. So since I wasnt able to do all of SIU I did my "drop it in 30" dvd too which doesnt have as much lunges, so I feel ok about my workout today. I am gonna try and rest the rest of the day, as much as I can with two kids lol.
Sweet tart - thanks for sharing.. and also a big thanks for all your inspiration !!!
I was also wondering how to log this?  Does anyone know?  Thanks!

So I'm down to the last 10 lbs I need to lose and decided to start incorporating excercise into my diet routine to tone up what's left! I began SIU on Monday and have done it each day, along with a 2.5 mile hike. I thought I was going to die on Tuesday and Wednesday- muscles were killing me! But I stuck through it and yesterday they were much better. I'm going to venture into RIU today and see if I'm ready for it. Prior I was only dieting and trying to keep to 1200-1300 calories a day. Now with the excercise, I'm going to up my calories to 1500-1600 a day. Does that sound right? I'm 5'3, 36 years old, and 131 lbs. Vacation starts July 1 and I'm going to be in swimsuit shape! Thanks to all of you for your inspiration!!
Yes.  I have the same question as Lauraj.  How do you log this???
Yeah I was wondering the same thing myself.  How many calories does this burn...
Yesterday was day 3, so I decided to try out RIU, and I actually got through the whole thing!  I did have to take a little break during the last part of the ab routine, but I'm going to work on going straight through when I do it tonight.  And even better, I'm not sore anymore!  Yesterday it hurt to go up and down the stairs, and now I don't feel any pain.  =)

Just finished my first day of RIU. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be! I did have to stop for just a few reps during all of that leg work when you're down on all fours, but I got right back into it. Tomorrow is my day off, so I think I'll just do that flexibility DVD. Hopefully I'm not sore tomorrow!
