I found Slim  in  6  to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned!  I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent.  I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time!  Anyone doing it, or about to start it?  I am ready for the 6 week challenge.  I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works!  I have seen results firsthand!  I need a buddy!

I am starting week 3 today.  I am still doing RIU along with slim & limber and slim & 6 pack.  I am noticing definition in my arms and legs and have noticed a few inches lost.  I am really hoping that the pounds start coming off soon too.  So far I have only lost 2 pounds.  I am determined to stick with it and finish the 6 weeks.  Then I think I will order Power 90 or Power 90X.  I have seen that people have great results with those.

I have seen/heard of people having such great results with SI6 and I am hoping that it comes during the middle/end!

The thing that I am really struggling with and I think it may be the reason why I am not losing, is my diet.  I am really trying to eat 1200 calories a day but find it very difficult.  I have been tracking my calories since 6-12 and my daily intake ranges from 640-1882.  I only went over 1200 one day, which was the 1882 day.  Most days are around 800-900.  I think maybe I am not eating enough but I am used to not eating much.  I have never been an eater.  Can anyone tell me if perhaps my body is in starvation mode?

Thanks to all of you for the motivation!  Great job everyone for "keep pushing play".
I guess it's definition that I'm noticing, but no inches are being lost Marissa.
I am only on week 2 day 3 and I dont see any difference yet but I feel so good.  I have found though that I think that I need more cardio so I pulled out the old treadmill that had dust all over it!  Hopefully that will be my answer to loosing my last 15 pounds and being toned too!
Hi Flgirl...i was reading in the milliondollarbody forums that most people don't see a loss until at least the 4th week...i found that site very informative about slim in six and lots of people there had a big loss at the 5th or 6th week so keep going!
Wow a lot of new ppl on the thread :)

tmmachado - Yes, EAT UP :) You can't expect working out so rigorously and not feed your body to see result. Your body needs fuel to burn and to maintain your body function. If you don't have enough fuel it will just store it to keep you alive, but not really helping you nurning anything. Not really scientific I know, but it is the logic.

What do you eat typically? Perhaps you need to change the food you eat in order to hit the good calorie amount without feeling too full before you get enough calories.
Marissamb... thank you so much! I have to get on those forums. Can I also just say, your pic is HOT!
Hi everyone!  I am at the end of SI6!  Yay!  I have definately noticed a difference in my arms, legs, stomach, and thighs!  I my starting weight was 183.  I have purposely not weighed myself for the whole six weeks (gasp!), and when I stepped on the scale today I weighed 167.9!  I have lost 15 pounds, and I have definatly lost inches.  I am able to fit into my pre-pregnacy size 10 pants, which is a big deal!  I just wanted to share this with everyone, and to let you all know that SI6 does work.  Don't give up!!

I am going to do a mix of Turbo Jam and SIU for another 6 weeks to see what else I can lose.  Anyone else have a good experience with Turbo Jam?  Just curious!
crazineko - Gratz on your achievements! :D

You will enjoy Turbo Jam. It is a totally different routine from SI6. High Pace High Energy, focusing on Cardio. You can get Weight training with Turbo Sculpt, which is pure weight training session for 40min.

I would recommend learning the basic movements (which are not that difficult and she will repeat those basic movements in different coreographs) and use the Learn & Burn or 20min Workout session first.

Once you get the hang of the moves, go ahead and choose whatever routines you want. I like Punch Kick & Jam, and Cardio Party. :)

Kat.
I've had Slim in 6 for about 2 months now. However, tonight was my first time doing it.  IT FELT GOOD! If there's anyone else who is just starting, feel free to hit me up and maybe we could motivate each other....For those of you who successfully completed, the program, how much (pounds and inches) did u lose in the initial 6 weeks.

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE!!
BIU.... I did it for the first time yesterday. OMG!!!!!
I received SI6 in the mail on Thursday, did SIU Thursday and Friday.  Didn't seem too challenging (but then, I've been doing Tae Bo and The Firm workouts for years now).  I started RIU this morning and it didn't seem very challenging either.  Sure hope I see some results.  I'm planning to add the Ab work and Limber workouts each day as well.  Maybe it's just that "first day is easy" thing.
Whitetigress, you really get out of it what you put into it. Maybe with RIU you can go a little lower with the lunges, squats, etc.... and when you get to the bands, really challenge yourself. You're probably in great shape due to what you've already been doing. I think it's a full 3 weeks that's recommended before going to BIU though, maybe someone else can confirm.
I started week 3 today.  I am on my 2nd week of RIU.  I have noticed some change, not a lot, but enough to feel really good.  Even without noticing the difference I feel so good.  From head to toe.  Especially in my stomach and arms.  You absolutley get what you put into it.  I can feel the difference when Im not giving a 100 percent.  I also do the extra ab workout 6 days a week and the stretches every other day. Next week I plan to switch it up between RIU and BIU then the last 2 weeks I will do BIU.  Hang in there Im thinking that the rewards will be great!

I ordered slim n 6 off of amazon but the dvd's did not include the meal plan options for the the 6 day challenge. I was wondering if anyone could me the diet plan to start my 6 week challenge. If you could even give me advice on how to start this program would be beneficial. Thanks so much!
Hi everyone! I was browsing earlier and found this forum about slim in 6. It was so encouraging and motivating to read that I decided to sign up in CC so I can join in the forums and track my progress as well. I have a copy of the workout and I tried to start several times before, but I didn't push through the 6 weeks because I didn't feel motivated enough. Hopefully with your help and support I will be able to finish it and see the results. Anyone with me??? :)

its me again.... im still trying to figure out this whole eating plan for the slim in 6 im getting really confused and frusterated. i have no idea what to eat , how much to eat, or when i should eat. and it says to even  all the food out but i dont know how much i should have of each. im like scared to eatcause i dont wanna mess up. and could someone please explain this calorie deficit thing to me i dont understand it at all.gahh..PLEASE HELP thanx
baby_g, it all depends on your stats... like for me, I'm 5'3" and currently 138 lbs... I eat between 1200-1400 calories per day, I try to stay toward the minimal 1200 more than the 1400.

Utilize the "tools" along the top of the page and plug in your stats!!
I am new to the board, and recently received my Slim in 6 in the mail. I am 30, 5'7" and about 155. I have never exercised in my life. Anyway, I am a bit discouraged. I was only able to get through about 8 minutes of SIU before I thought I would collapse. Has anyone else experienced this frustration? Grr. Good luck to everyone, and I am glad to be part of the group!
Hey guys! I finally got mine in the mail and started on Sunday.  Overall, I thought it was okay, but the squats really hurt and I suck at the crunches.  I think I'm gonna stay on SIU for a whole week and really get the routine down, I don't feel ready for more just yet.

Oh, and I'm making my boyfriend do it with me.  It's hillarious!!
