I found Slim  in  6  to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned!  I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent.  I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time!  Anyone doing it, or about to start it?  I am ready for the 6 week challenge.  I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works!  I have seen results firsthand!  I need a buddy!

It is boring perhaps because of the music they use for the background sucks royally XD So like amandie I have my iTunes open with playlist for that workout.

If you have bad knees, you need to do certain exercise slower and more careful. Make sure you got proper form for lunges, plieé, and squats - which untimaltely relieve pressure from your knees.
Heck, I still can't even follow Debbie's pace when doing the lunges. Just keep in mind, it is the quality of the movement not the quantity that makes a safer and better workout.
I just had my first session today. I was panting next to my friend while she did it. Our arms hurt. I'm prepared to ACHE tomorrow.

But damn, I feel good.
cant wait to get it, I bought it because of what i read here.

i go to the gym and i jog, but it seams like i cant get the results i want. hope si6 is going to work.

i also want to start writing often to get motivated.

make sure you do the movements properly. it's true it is hard on some parts... knees in my case.

just downloaded the program on the internet, could't wait any longer... I did the first one, not to bad, we'll see tomorrow !

also took pics and mesurements, sooo depressed... I can't belive what I am seing ! heurrr!!!

I tried start it up a week ago and was SO sore in my legs.... I did other stuff while it went away, and tried again today.  so far. not nearly as sore and tired....  so hopefully I can do it again tomorrow and keep it up daily.

thinking about taking "before" pics, but I'm lazy.   we'll see.
yeah, i didn't want to take pics of me like that, (I have never been so fat before) but it was a good kick in the but !

I think I will be motivated longer if I look at them once in a while...

I just purchased slim in 6 and I'm going to start tomorrow  - very excited.  I have to take my before picture today and I'm a tad bit wary about this but this may motivate me more.

I hope this works - I'm going on holidays on November 3rd so I want to be able to wear a bathing suit...:)

I feal good! I realy feel I am going to another level with that. love it. I cant do all the repetitions, but it's ok, in a few days I will be stronger.

just did my second day too.  can definitely tell a difference... hardly sore at all this time around.  my abs are disproportionately strong, so I'm adding the slim & 6pack at the end.

question:  I know from browsing here that I'll need a resistance band for Ramp it Up.  is there any particular kind?  also, is there other stuff I'll need to get when I make it to Burn It Up??

I ordered slim in six awhile ago. I haven't done it in awhile but would like to start back because I need to move in a healthier direction. Not only that, but I have a WEDDING to get ready for. My dream is to walk down the aisle looking great! I would love to be your partner cause I really need the motivation from fellow members!
My resistance band came with my SI6 order. I'm sure you can get it from the official website. Or you can even research the specific one you need and buy it at a local store. Have you did the slim & 6pack yet? If you have, how was it?
Whew! I almost lost ALL motivation for Slim in 6 in about two days. I have this thing with instant results. XD

Mostly, I was pissed cause I could hardly do 15 minutes without wanting to COLLAPSE. Well, today I plugged in my mp3 player, got a LARGE glass of water and did it. All 25 minutes of SIU.

It's a stupid little conquest but I feel enourmously proud of myself. This, ladies and gents, is going to be a Good Week.

I did not receved my program yet, but I downloaded it on the intertnet because I did not want to wait. I dont have the band eather. I'm using weights instead and it works ok. You can buy a lot of stuf on the official site, but shipping is loooong !

Thenozomi, way to go girl!  You have to continue now! I heard that it often takes 2 weeks before you start to see the difference in the mesurements and 3 to start seing a difference on the scale.

and thanks babyboom... I'll check their site to see what kind it is... I'm guessing the sort of thing I can get for lots cheaper at the store... yes, I've been doing the slim & 6pack and I like it... but that's because I like anything that gets my abs really tired... which it seems to do!

dan120... I'm impressed!  I did three days in a row and then yesterday had a bad day... ended up eating toast with gobs and gobs of butter while watching t.v. during the time I was supposed to be slim in 6ing... but will back to it today.  :-)

not easy today to get to it. I was going for the tv too, thanks to you beautyquester for the kick I needed to get to it ! I'm happy you're there today!

Sorry for not updating! XD Yesterday was a non St6 day, mainly because I need a root canal. It made eatnig anything nearly impossible and I didn't want to burn calories when I didn't think I'd make the bare minimum anyway.

Today almost wasn't a day because I had to be rushed to the ER around 3.30 AM due to my pain meds backfiring and tearing up my stomach. But.. I decided to be a lazy person, wait until 6.30 tonight and... I'm doing it NOW. XD Haha, but now I'm at my own house and have to watch myself in a freaking MIRROR while I do it.

If that isn't unmotivating... >< To see how I bounce and jiggle even while exerciseing.. Ah well! Glad to see you're doing REALLY! well, Dan!

so that makes week one, day 4 out of 6... tomorrow I'm going to go looking for a resistence band... I'm thinking I'll go to Ramp It Up on sunday....
