I found Slim  in  6  to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned!  I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent.  I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time!  Anyone doing it, or about to start it?  I am ready for the 6 week challenge.  I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works!  I have seen results firsthand!  I need a buddy!

week 3 day one: done !

very happy to start this week! good week to all!
Sorry for not posting for so long. D:

I've been trying to do RIU but my knee... it keeps popping when I try to do the pilates and the back lunge. Things like that. It doesn't hurt, exactly, it feels more like I have an air pocket in my knee and it gets annoying.

Also, the noise kind of freaks me out. I'm able to drown it out by playing loud Indian music (From India, not North America) and by turning the music OFF of the DVD. Also, I turn the volume down so low I can hardly hear her. But still, I can -feel- it popping and now, whenever I do it, I get a little freaked out. I haven't been able to successfully finish a session after the first few times because of it.

Any advice? D: I really like the program and don't want to quit. My legs are stronger and I KNOW I'm loosing weight - or at least fat. My upper body is loosing most of it, unfortunetly. TUMMY BE GONE!

I just don't know what to do about the popping.

Also, those oblique crunches we do by standing? By FAR my favorite part. I get to hop around. XD

DAN! Good luck and CONGRATS on the newest loss~
Well, I'm starting over completely today.  I had a massive asthma attack just over a week ago (complete with ambulance and emergency room!), and had to lay off the exercise completely.  After a week's rest, I feel pretty good, and am anxious to get going again.  I'll be good though, and start with SIU again, and work my way back up.  This is a good chance to redo the whole program consistently- I was doing okay before, but was averaging about 4 days a week. Not good enough!

Hi:

I just finished week 2 day 2 ....I'm still doing ramp it up.  I wasn't planning on doing burn it up until week 3.

I weight myself on Monday, September 17th which was exactly one week since I started SI6 and I lost 2.2 pounds.  As well, I can see a difference in my clothes.  I'm not dieting but am watching what I eat ....I'm trying to stay away from the sweets..hard....:)

Keep motivated...

tiggergimo, your off course welcome to contribute. We need more people to get motivated as much as we can!

did you start the prpgram?
Embarassed thanks so much for letting me come on board.. well i started teh si6 this week. monday was the first day and i am still sore today.. so i am debateing if i should do it today.. but i am hopeing i will get it done as the day has already started for me and that usually means it will not get done.. but just a little history on me i have lost weight before back in 03 about 25 and was only 25lbs aways from my goal but unfortunaly got lazy and feel back into my old routine and now i am heavier then was 4 yrs ago.  so once again trying to get back down to at lest 150lbs not to bad felt good about myself then so would like to expericne that again. but last time i was goin to the gym 5 days a week. and now nurseing a knee injury and dealing with it for the last 2 yrs has put my running to a stand still and i jsut go sooooooooooo bored of the elpitcal.. so thought i would try something at home and that i can do on my own time and not have to leave the house.. so here is hoping.. so once again thanks for welcoming me and hope i can be some inspiration to everyone and hope to chat and get to know alot of you thanks bye.

good to see that your still motivated ! you help me staying it too

good luck and good work!! see you on sunday!

Hi everyone-I'm new here. Hope no one minds if I pop in. I have let myself go for the past year or so (my excuse is working too much to work out) and I am totally sick of my clothes not fitting anymore.  Jean season is coming and I need to be able to comfortably wear them. I have been reading about slim in 6 lately so I went ahead and ordered it . I hope to get it by Monday or Tuesday. I am trying to motivate myself to do it exactly like the directions say...I want to be Slim in 6 (3 would be better  :)   So anyway, I am planning to stay in touch to this forum to help keep me motivated.

Good luck to those of you already started.Keep up the good work, remeber your success is a motivation to me!

Hey idgy I am so glad you are joining in!!! This keeps me motivated too! Good luck with your journey and let me know when your dvds come in and you get started!

Amy

Hi Amy, I will let you know when I start the program. I can't wait to get moving again. I have been trying to walk the tred mill some but I am looking forward to a program that will give fast results. Anyway, I think we're close to the same size so we have similar goals. I'm 5'3 and weigh too much. (I can't even get myself to type the number.) I want to loose between 15 and 20 lbs.

One question I have is how long are the daily workouts? I understand they get longer the farther you get in the program...am I right?

 Thanks,

Leslie

Week one day..4!!! yay! really really didn't want to do it tonight but thought oh I will just to half....then when I got half way thfough I though dont be a baby just finish it...haha...it worked!  I did it and I feel so proud of  myself!

Idgy, the first one is 25 then the next(where I am now) is 45 then I think it goes to 60..ouch! Anyway, I feel great afterward, they are hard but they break it into secttions and that helps alot by making the time go by faster!!! I hope you enjoy it! I want to lose 5 more pounds I will be thrilled! even more than that though I just want to be TONED!!! Well off to shower and then bed! So glad you are starting! I have a buddy:))))))
