Anyone doing SLIM IN 6?
good job amyjo! your first week is almost done!
welcome to you idgystripes! It's true that the third part is an hour, but it goes fast. Today was my first time that I was able to do it all, without stopping, including the part on the floor. I can now make as many repetitions as she does, yay for me!!!
good day! see you tomorrow!

Wow Dan--starting on week 4 your on the other side of the hill--over half way! Congratulations. Are you seeing results? I'm sure you are, someone with your motovation.
And Amy today must be the last of your first week. That's great. I don't think splitting up the time would make a difference on your end results. I've heard people say about walking...10 minutes here, 10 minutes there and before you know it you walked 30 minutes. Your getting the work out no matter how you break it up. The only thing is, it may take some extra effort to get back to do the second half later...but in two sections is better that none at all.
45 minutes to an hour isn't bad especially if the time seems to go fast. I hope mine gets here today so I can get started too! Have a great day, Leslie
good work Amy, today is your last day of the first week, how do you feel?? must be proud!
wow way to go girls sounds like you guys are doing great.. i got mine last week but i did it the first day and was so sore i could not do it the next week so i am starting fresh this week. so today week 1 day 1. so lets c how it works out tomorow.. but i was wondering do i do it every day.. right now i am only doing the start up..
amyjo u started at the same time as me how sore were u the next day when u started.. i could not even walk down my stairs wow.. i was sore and i ahve done squats before but has been a while and it showed.. so congrats on finishing the first week and i hope to catch up to u soon. so are u doin the start up every day.. please let me know. thanks. and have fun on the next one it is going to be hard but i am sure u can do it girl.. ok hope to hear from you soon...
idgystripes great to have someone else starting new to i hope u get ur cd's soon they are a killer..
bye everyone.
Have a great day everyone!
so I'll have the same start date as you tiggergimo... :-) I was insane sore the very first day and mostly the rest of the week like you were. maybe not the whole week. but I did put off starting again til the next week. that time it seemed significantly less sore. I did it for five out of seven days the next week, and I didn't feel like I had to stop because of soreness. I did get lazy, though, after that, and so... this time... going to stick with it.
and this time I'm going to take before & after pics... somehow I think that'll make me feel accountable & stay motivated.
by the way, dan120, you have come so far! I started on the same day as you last time, and it shows me that if I hadn't stopped, I'd be on week four right now too... so you'rey motivational. ;-)
I'm now on week 4 day 3, still going! yay for me. My energy level have never been so high before! people are asking me how I find this energy at work! it's great! (I'm doing SI6P in the morning and BIU after work)
Amy, dont feal bad if you dont see it on the scale. If you have a chance to use a scale that gives you your % of body fat, you will see it go down even if your actual weight is increasing. It's my case. I havent lost a pound yet, but I lost 8% of body fat. We are bulding muscles! good work on your first week!
beautyquester, it's ok to follow your rythme. I was not sore after my start, I did SIU only once and RIU only the first week. I have been doing BIU since. I guess I was already strong, especialy my legs, from the jogging. Go for it! you can fo it this time!
Good Morning!
I still haven't got my package yet :( so hopefully it will be here today. I want to start at the same time as others so we can get motivated together. I have been watching what I eat and walking on the tred mill for an hour in the afternoon but I'm ready for someting new!
Tigger: Good for you for starting again. I find that I can do a program for a couple of weeks then just sort of stop...but I think this count down (week 1 day 5 etc. ) will help me keep my eye on the light at the end of the tunnel. I know that after the 6 weeks I'll need to continue, but having a goal will hopefully help. I know what you mean about sore legs. I've been that sore before too. I think going down stairs hurts worse thatn going up.
Ajja: I'm sorry you are having a hard time with the roomies...I'm lazy too. You can start over with me when I finally get my package and we can help each other!
Amy: Congrats! I bet your weight gain is because all the muscle your building. Don't get distracted. I think I won't weigh myself until the end of the third week because it makes me soooooo mad when I don't see instant results. I think thats why I always quit after a couple of weeks. You're doing great!
Beauty: Ok, now I'm worried I won't be able to walk after I do the first day. UGH! I've never taken before and after pix. That would involve posing while someone was focusing on my flabby mid section...no thanks. I think it would help motivate later in the program when I'm feeling depressed because I'm not seeing fast enough results. I'll have to think about it. Let me know if you do it.
Dan: can't wait to be on week 4 myself. By then it will be close to Halloween my favorite holiday...bad news because I am a candy freak!!! Hopefully I will have been working hard for 4 weeks and will be able to say no, no, no to all those minature snickers bars and peanutbutter cups... hahaha!
Here's hoping my SI6 comes TODAY...have a good Tuesday everyone.
Leslie
I just saw the infomercial on tv, and honestly, if it works, I'd love to give it a try. So I've been doing a bit of searching on the net to see if I can find some actual opinions and feedback from people who aren't likely to be biased.
The phrase "if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is" comes to mind. As with most people, I'd love fast results with little effort, but it's not a realistic goal, which is why I'm skeptical about this program. The workouts look relatively difficult to do, although you would never be able to tell from the infomercial full of smiling faces (I don't think I'll be able to smile while I do it, honestly!). But, as with all infomercials, they're paid for in order to sell their product.
I stumbled across this site, and was reading several pages of the posts here. I noticed that the majority of the people posting are in the process of doing the program. However, I do have a question, and I'm looking for an honest response if possible. Is there anyone who has completed the whole program and achieved the results they're looking for? Is it really possible to lose that much weight in 6 weeks?
I think everyone's searching for a solution to the constant problem of weight loss and living up to the hollywood image of beauty. I'm hoping, that this might be the solution I'm looking for. So, if you could give me your advice/opinions, I'd be really grateful!
Week 1 day 2 wow it was an early workout today but i did it and i am not as sore as i was last week yaaa.aaaa.
Beautyquester Wow three times sounds like something i may be dooing.. but it great to know that you are starting again and that u are starting at the same time. we can keep tabs on each other.. i am not sure if i want to do the before and after pics but i think i will do that to my friend got an old pair of jeans out and used that as motivation. i was thinking of doing that to. but man it is hard very hard. i did it before got down to 151. man i was 1 ounce away from my mid way point and man i just blew it and now i ahve more to lose. i thoguht 150 was not good enought then but now man i wish i was there. even just for a moment haha.
hey there dan120 so how often are doing ur work outs. did i miss that page in the book or what.. well will ahve to look again..
ignystripes. i hope ur package come soon it is a tough work out and i am sure u will love it..
cayrien. girl there is no program in the world that will give u results quick and with as little work as possible.. i find that this video is challenging and worth the time. as for me i am 180 and 5/1 i have about 34% body fat i am not expecting to c a six pack in 6 weeks but i am hoping my leg will be stronger a same with my arms. i am like u that is very sceptical about promises of major weight loss and shaping. but i guess it gets me off the couch and make me not want to eat that cheesecake. ahha any way i hope u do find something that works for u and i knwo u are gonna find something.. good luck and well c what result i bring in 5 weeks ok . good luck.
Have a great day to all!
AMY
I wanted to get some information on slim in 6. I think I have tried every diet under the sun. I'm not over wieght by much but would like to tone up alot. I seen the tv ad, and want to know if this really works. I have a hard time staying on work out programs. Is it easy to follow, easy to do? Please Help.
I'm half way through in week 4! good job idgystripes, are you sore today? to answer your question, I think what they suggest is to do your wo in the morning. I do mine after work or at night. I just started this week to do the SI6P in the morning, it's only 10 minutes and it doubles my abs work. (that's what I need!) If you want to loose faster, eventualy, you can do SIU and SI6P in the morning and BIU at night! or the opposite. I may try that in my secon round. (I want to start it right after first round + 1 week off)
Still no result on the scale... grrrr I'm afraid to loose my motivation because of that. I might take pictures and mesurements again this weekend to try to find some results! I'm going to go weigh myself on a scale with the % of bodyfat also...
Good Morning all--
Yes, I am sore this morning. But not as bad as I thought I'd be. my legs my get more sore as the days goes on...mostly a very stiff feeling. I plan to do SIU again this afternoon, and if I can handle it, RIU tomorrow. Dan, did you only do SIU for the 2 days the first week or longer? I can see how doing SIU in the AM and RIU in the afternoon would really create some fast results. I may try that when the soreness goes away. I will add the SI6P tonight as well.
By the way Dan, Don't loose motivation now, your almost to the end! and besides, if you stop, that will make me loose motivation too. You can do it. Your clothes have to be fitting better now, give it 1.5 more weeks. I bet you'll see big changes in the next few days!!!
Cheryl, welcome to the SI6 forum. I'm pretty new here to. Only starting day 2 of the program so I can't really answer all your questions. I do think this is a good work out for toning up though. Very muscle oriented. I have worked out off and on for about 8 years now (most recently more off than on). Yesterday was my first day of SI6 and I am sore but not unbearable. I can feel it and thats good so I know it's working. I think posting on this board will also help me stay on program. So get yours and join us!!!
Amy, How was that day off? What are your doing each day? I know you're on RIU, but do you do some in the AM and PM?
Well, I better be getting back to work since that's where I am...
Have a great work out today everyone.
Leslie

ok girl have a good day and work out hard.
Wk1, D1 Hi everyone - I did SIU for the first time this morning, followed by the stretch/limber workout. I'm not feeling too sore yet, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow's wkout. Pretty sure things will get difficult in the days to come - any advice on when to start the RIU set?
Also, I'm new to this whole forum/messageboard thing - can anyone tell me the difference between a "Quote" and a "Reply"?
Thanks, in advance, for all the good advice and motivation.
