Anyone doing SLIM IN 6?
everyday is a chalenge, but I am soooooo motivated to finish without cheating that I realy beleave in me this time. I can do push ups on my feet now! I feal so strong!
tonight is my week 5 day 3! I'm proud of me !
I'm still hella unmotivated though. >.O After doing RIU a few times, it got BORING. I don't know what to do!
Good for you your Dan! You can finish it! Half way through the 5th week is a major accomplishment. You will finish, I know it. I pushed play yesterday and plan on doing it agian tonight. This is week 2 day 2. I am getting a little bored with RIU but it is working. I am about to get through the whole work out without stopping. Just a few leg lifts to get through. Dan, when did you start BIU?
Jazmin-Slim in 6 is a work out program designed to tone you up in 6 weeks. Its hard and takes commiment to "push play" every day but I'm starting to see results after my first full week. Go for it.
Lets get motivated together. It can get boring but it's only an hour (and the hour goes fast)-and it feels so good when it's done for the day!!
Gotta get to work...

Wow, is it week 2 already? It actually went by pretty fast, though I was a bit low on the energy today. I made it through the whole workout, but I think these mornings of waking up an hour early are starting to get to me. But, every morning I tell myself to do just 20 or 30 minutes of RIU, and by the time 30 minutes are up, it's just as easy to finish it off.
I've started to notice that there isn't as much burning in the arm muscles during the band workout. Is it better to increase the band tension, or try to do all the reps? I still haven't been able to make it through those last 8 shoulder presses.
Everyone sounds like they're keeping on track that's fantastic!- Thanks for the support!
Vane-I have the booklet that outlines the 6 day express diet plan. to me it looked very confusing and strict. i skimmed through it without too much attention because i'm not one to follow a strict diet and this thing is STRICT! i don't have the book in front of me right now, so that's all the info i can give you at this time.
Today is week 2 day 3--workout is getting eaiser. I'm able to finish all reps. Not really looking forward to doing it tonight but I'll think of Dan in his 5th week and push play. I think this is a critical point that I don't stop here. I am tempted to skip it. i'm feeling a little tired, i have a lot of other things I need to be doing, the weather outside is beautiful--I should be doing yard work etc. I have to make it through week 3 to start to feel and see more results. I see some, but need to find a way to stay motivated until the big changes start happening. Plus, I've heard after you do something 12 times in a row it becomes habit. i like the feeling I get after finishing each day but am starting to dred the workout time-- maybe it's time to try BIU??
I'm done with week 5 can you beleave it? I missed two days intead of one because of a pain in an ankle. I'm ok now and I'm pump up and I had a very good 90 minutes workout!
Idgy and chic, keep up, you can do it! It's really getting easier each week. I'm happy I have only one week to go in my first round. My legs and stomach are sooo strong and my husband is all over me... ;-)
can't wait to see the statistics and pictures next week! It's the first time I go through with a program. thank to you girls!! have a good night and see you tomorrow
Danielle
Sounds like everyone is doing quite well, keep it up! I will being joining you in about January, almost about the same time I started this post this past year!
YES I AM DOING IT AND I LOVE IT.
Ok, week 2 day 7. I have done fairly well this week. Except I took 2 days off instead of one. Thursday was my real day off, then I had to miss yesterday because I was just busy. Could have done it in the AM but didn't, then had company in the afternoon...I'm getting back to it today. I'm looking at today as if starting week 3. May try BIU this afternoon???? I'm a Little bummed because there are no visible results yet. I'm ready for the pounds to start melting away....
Danielle- you're great motivation! Keep up the good work. Are you seeing weight loss? I feel stronger, but the flab is still jiggling around my middle. yuck.
Chic-Hellooooooooooooooo???? How was your weekend?
bye for now,
Leslie
week 2 day 7 done! I did BIU this afternoon. Of course I couldn't do all the reps...and I was hating it while I was doing it, but then all of a sudden it was over and I felt great. Tomorrow I will do it with a different attitude. I am just ready to start seeing some results. I hope by the end of week 3 there will be some noticible changes. But all in all, BIU is pretty good. It's hard, but it does go pretty fast. I hate, hate hate the leg lifts (on all fours) but when they're done, the workout is almost over.
Later,
Leslie
I could't resist yesterday and I went jogging with my dog. was a good feeling, but I realise that SI6 is very good on the muscles, but not so good on cardio. I'm sore today, but I did it anyway. I'm actually happy to be almost done with the first round. I wanted to stick to it so much and I did, but I cant wait to do other things also. I bought turbo jam, I will alternate all that. my goal is to continue to exercise every day. I also want to continue to read you guys to stay motivated.
gypsierose, there is almost no jumps in SI6 and I thing you will be able to adapt a lot of these exercises to get back in shape! see you around!
week 3 day 1 done....Danielle--tell me about how good you're looking now. I need to know I will start seeing results! I did almost all the reps today, but I did pause the DVD to rest for a few seconds--a couple of times. I'm starting to think I need to be doing something with more cardio to burn fat...but I'm resigned to finish the 6 weeks just to see what results I get. My problem is I only have that last 10-15 to loose and it is just hanging on for dear life. I keep telling myself "it's going to work, keep it up".........Someone tell me again how well this program works.
I will push play agian tomorrow!
skiped a day today, had a friend over, it's almost 10:00, no way I push play now!
idgystripes, I am not going to lie to you, I did not loose weight with this program. I was already doing exercise before, I had to stop jogging because I've twist an ankle. I started that with a lot of expectations, usualy people have good results. I went jogging this week end and I actualy feal like I have lost my shape, especially for the cardio. I have a begining of a 6 pack, that I like. I feal loose in my pants, and like I said before, my husband is all over me all the time, I know there is some changes related to that program. especially if you consider that I was not in bad shape when I started. My weigh is between 136 and 138 lb. I eat whatever I want, even sweets, fries, yesterday I had pancakes with butter, maple sirup AND maple sugar... go figure why it does not go down...
what I love about BIU is that it's always a chalenge. It's not getting boring to me because it does not get easyer. I've ordered turbo jam, there is more cardio in it, I may mixt the work out with SI6 and jogging.
I would so like to tell you that it works like magic, but realy, I thing that diet and supplements count for like 80%... I do have a good improvement in my shape, but I exercise for at least 6 hours a week! It's impossible not to have results this way! Come on, push play, I want to know how you will do. please dont let me down! I need people to keep me motivated for round 2! ;-)
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
