I found Slim  in  6  to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned!  I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent.  I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time!  Anyone doing it, or about to start it?  I am ready for the 6 week challenge.  I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works!  I have seen results firsthand!  I need a buddy!

Hi Ladies! What a fun website! I was just doing a srearch on slim in 6 and stumbled across this site! I have had the program for years and it has been sitting collecting dust and I was looking through all my dvds for a much needed workout and decided to give it a try! I know longer have the diet program but I'm sure I can just get on a basic low cal diet. Right? I did the start it up twice already and even though it is just for beginners. (Well I am a beginner) I really felt it the next day! I just quit smoking a couple monthes ago which was really hard. I found that blogging really helped me quit. So I am hoping the same will apply for losing wait! I need motivation!

I started the Slim in 6 .. Yesterday was my first day and i did the "Start it up" Section which was 30 min. Am i supposed to do this section everyday for the next two weeks? because there are three parts.. So my question is am i supposed to do every section for two weeks? I"m confused.. Any help would be great.

It's designed for you to do SIU for 2 days, then move up to RIU for 10 days, and then BIU for 24 days.  Good luck with your fitness goals.  I got great results with SI6!

I started on the 15th with start it up.  I did it a few years ago and lost a great deal of weight and toned up wonderfully.  I would like a wotk out buddy.  I dont have the schedule and need to know precisely

How many days do i do each routine?

How many times a day?  I think it was twice on some weeks.  If someone could give me the exact outline it would be greatly appreciated.  I have a two month old and want to get back in shape.  I am currently 265 but I love 2 workout.

Hi Cgirl! The recommended outline for SI6 is 2 days of Start it Up, 10 days of Ramp it Up, and 24 days of Burn it Up.  You workout only once a day, 6 days a week.  You can find workout buddies on the beachbody site!  There's a lot of support there!

Good luck with your fitness goals!

Hey

I just got the Slim in 6 from a friend for my prom that is in 2 weeks. She doesn't have the 6 day express diet plan anymore cause she lost it. So I was just wondering if anyone would be able to e-mail it to me? I would really appreciate it if you did!  : )

Thank you!

Chanel

I have bought the SI6 awhile back and I don't have the SIU and RIU so I guess I'll be just doing the BIU!  Sorry, don't have the 6 day express diet.  I'll try to start on this again Monday 6/1 anyone out there who wants to do this with me?

I just saw the infomercial on TV.  I quit smoking 4 yrs ago, was also going thru a difficult time and was on antidepressants, ate everything in site and went from 130 to 160 in no time flat.  Once I realized what was happening, I dropped the antidepressants and started cutting back on calories, to about 1200 a day.  I chose more healthy foods, cut out fats and sweets as much as possible, but never could lose any weight.  Did that for about 18 months or so - a guy I started dating suggested I join the local community center (literally 5 mins away on foot from me and I have no car) so now I have been doing the ellipitcal machine about 45 minutes a day since March, Plus I discovered 1200 calories was not enough and put my body into starvation mode - have read Jillian Michael's Master your metabolism and after vamping up my calories to now about 1400 a day and also added FATS, I almost over night lost 10 pounds!  Then I saw the infomercial today and decided to give this a whirl - hoping to do this IN ADDITION to 45 minutes of ellipitals 5 days a week - goal is to get back to 130 or less.  I'm 50 yrs old, 5' 5".  I am pretty excited about having lost 10 pounds now and look forward to toning my body, especially my belly and thighs!  I know I won't get any of the DVDs for at least a week ... but plan to check in here often and see how everyone else is doing.  don't mind having a buddy - my email is rharlow2 "at" gmail "dot" com.

Ronna,

I just ordered the SlimIn6 also and would love to have a buddy!  You sound way ahead of the game plan.  I need a buddy to commit to, to stay motivated.  I have gained about 40 pounds in the last couple of years and it is so hard to get it off the older I get.  My problem area is my stomach, but, and thighs.  Let me know if you want to start together when the DVDs come.

hi annhelen!  Yes, I'd like a buddy!  I am a work-a-holic so time for me is tight!  I work at home but start at 4 in the morning.  I try to leave here at 10 a.m. to go to the gym (less crowded then) and hit the elipital for 45 minutes then back to work until suppertime ... not sure WHEN i'm gonna find an additional hour for 5 out of 6 days, but I'm determined to tone my body up!  My BF (for lack of a better term to call him!) "prefers" "thin" gals but he keeps coming around (since November) so I figure he doesn't mind me just the way I am, but still, for ME, I want to get back to where I was!   My problem areas are the same as yours.  Sadly, I think my boobs have been the first to "suffer" from the 10 pounds I have already lost!!!  I'll let you know when my DVDs get here

Ronna,

You sound like quite a busy lady!  This is my down time - I am a teacher - we are on summer break now.  So I plan to get in the habit when I have the time so when things get crazy again...I will have it in my schedule.  Sounds like your BF is a great guy!  I tell you I have shied away from intimate relationships since I put on all this weight - so am ready to get it off and get back out there.  I hear ya about the boob thing - always my last place to gain weight but the first place to lose it! :)  I had to get sized for a dress for my brothers wedding in Dec. and the "little" lady taking my measurements informed me that my boobs were quite proportionately smaller than my stomach and hips!  Just what I wanted to hear! So I really want to have to get a smaller dress by then.  Keep in touch!

I am going to be getting slim in 6 when i get back from my honeymoon. I am getting married on saturday and then my honeymoon will be for a week. I can wait to get it ans start right away.

I have been 50lbs over weight since I've had my kids, but it is time for me to get back in shape and stop crying about it.

The next time I cry, it will be tears of happiness when I loose all the weight.

You guys are my inspiration and motivation. Thank you all.

congrats on getting married next week!  and have a great honeymoon ;o).  burn lots of calories!  my slim in 6 order is on it's way now ... i'm excited to get started myself.

Hey girls I been reading all of yours comments and i think is really nice how everyone give each other some kind of motivation. I would like to join the group too.... I order slim in 6 on Tuesday, but to tell you the true am kind of skeptical about this.... am going to give a try and i hope that you guys will help get through it......

Thanks

Lupe

well, It's Monday June 8.  I got my SI6 last week and decided today was going to be my first day.  I work lots of hours and usually go to the gym on my "lunch" hour and was wondering when on earth would I find time to squeeze in another hour?!  I decided over the weekend to give this a whirl and so I will forgo the gym for the next six weeks in order to give this my best shot. So, I'll report back tomorrow and let you all know how it goes!  It's 6 a.m. right now and I'm in between jobs and I plan to do this at 10 this morning.  My BF and I had some friends over last nite - she is a slim little thing - gosh, I wish I could look like her again and I know this is unrealistic - I'm 50 and have had 2 kids and she is 28 and kidless - but still I can dream, right?!  LOL.

Ronna,

Hey I got mine on Sat.  are you doing the 6 day express?  I think I am going to do Diet Plan 2.  And did you start with:  Start it UP!?  I need to take my measurements and pictures and then get started so possibly today or else I will be a day behind you.  I was thinking of doing it first thing in the morning but I still might have to do it in the evening about 6:00.  I started doing some painting of classrooms at the school today and will be doing that for a while so not exactly if it is going to be better in the AM or PM.  My goal is to get rid of some of this jiggly stuff that I have all over.  I am excited to get started but will probably drag my feet as time goes on. I keep telling myself that 6 weeks is really not that long.  I have tubs of clothes that I can't wear, I would to love to go shopping in them - it would be like getting a whole new wardrobe.  Congrats on your first day - I'll check in tomorrow.
