Anyone doing SLIM IN 6?
I found Slim in 6 to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned! I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent. I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time! Anyone doing it, or about to start it? I am ready for the 6 week challenge. I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works! I have seen results firsthand! I need a buddy!
I want to join in is that ok with you guys? I'm here in the Cayman Islands and I have SI6 but not RIU or BIU. Is that still a start or do I need all 3?
Thanks for the tips on dinners. I was able to prepare and eat dinner before 5:30 tonight so I think I just need to continue down this path. I go to bed fairly early so I can't eat too late. It worked out pretty good tonight so as long as I plan my meals in advance it should work pretty well.
Aly - You are really tearing it up! I can't believe that you hold the schedule you have and are able to fit in 2 workouts in one day!!! Good for you!
Monix - Congrats on the compliment, you've been working hard and completely deserve it.
Thanks to everyone for all the confidence boosters! You all are helping me to keep going! Keep up all the hard work, in 4 more weeks we're all going to be soooo hot!!!! Only a couple more days until BIU...I can't wait!

Jule - You're completely welcome to join in, I would definately look in to getting the RIU and BIU as well. The Start it up is more of an introductory step to familiarize you to the movements but getting into the RIU and BIU is what really helps the weight just drop off and helps you tone up. It is more of a preference thing so your welcome to continue doing the Start it up if that is what your comfortable with.
The more the merrier!

Thanks for the advise chrisjeff I'll definitely order the RIU and BIU. Until then keep up the good work, all of you. I have a treadmill and some bootcamp DVD's with Billy Blanks so I'll continue with that until my order comes in. I would still appreciate the motivation though. I get very distracted from doing any form of workout when I get home because i'm always busy taking care of my kids, house and doing homework and I just don't know where to begin my workout. I need some buddies to motivate and support me. Thanks again and push it, you can do it.
jule! you are in the cayman islands? ahhh, i love it there. i went on vacation to grand cayman in high school and fell in love. lucky! i am so jealous.
i did my 8th day in a row of biu today. *pats herself on the back*. i love this, i feel so motivated thanks to all of you. i can't belive i have already knocked out one week. i can definitely do that 5 more times. it feels good to have the positive energy to follow through.
everyone is doing awesome. and i want to thank you all for the encouragement.

Just got my Slim in 6 in the mail yesterday...can't wait to start. wasn't able to do it yesterday as I had a yoga class last night. I'm so pumped and ready to go. Everyone on this forum really motivated me. I had never heard of slim in 6 until last week when I joined C-C. I just have a question...how do you log it in the workout? Is it aerobics? cardio? i'm not sure. Thanks everybody for your support and motivation!
Congratulations taylorn! Keep up the good work with BIU and yet do not forget that your body needs the rest. To over-train yourself is not a good idea (yeah, I'm talking, today is going to be my 7 day in a row as well...). But anyway, good job!
charlie: I got no idea! I put it under "slimnastics" until now, but I'm not sure is correct.

Monix: I put it under the same thing! I'm thinking of wearing my heart
monitor today and actully finding out how many kcals it is and adding
it. I'm doing RIU so maybe we can at least get that one in.
waterphoenix: it will be wonderful! I have no heart monitor so I have no idea how much I burn. If you will do that and let me know how much is it (I'm doing RIU as well) ... I would be very greatful to you!
can someone break down this slim in 6 program for me? where do i find it, i may like to start it. I would like to see these results that the op spoke of...
Another BIU logged in last night ^^

Alright guys, you got me thinking about the SI6 that's been sitting on the shelf since last summer. I'm in! I love doing those exercises. My husband is even into them and we just stopped because - well, I don't know!
Thanks for the reminder. I'm starting tonight!
Ren :D

I took my day off today. Today would have been day 9. But I felt tired and sore today so I finally decided it would be my rest day! But you can bet I will be starting again tomorrow!
Me too ^_^
Tonight I just did Strength Training at home for 1 hr.
You know why SI6 is good? The sets are so simple and easy to remember that you actually can do your own short routine yourself, mix it up, or using some of the sets during regular weight training. Very good when you are away from home, or when you just want to do a quicky.
Some of my favorite sets are the side kick, squat & side lifts, front&back kick, front punch and side to side punch, static lunge with side arms lifts, squats w/ lateral biceps (while doing these, I usually hold 2 pounders or 7 pounders for added intensity).

friday was my day off from SI6, i did do lunges and squats while my client was sleeping. today might be a challenge to get RIU in. I just got in from work at 9am and my mom is having a family gathering for my daughter's bday at 2pm, then back to work again at 8pm... so i am booked all day unless i sleep now for 3-4 hours get up do RIU, then shower and head out the door... i am rambling... sorry... i am tired!
Beavis... I know what you mean about salty/sweet stuff after a night at work, yesterday morning i could have killed a bag of rold gold twists! it was torture to stay with in the 1 once serving size.. but i did it!

After having a lil personal crisis in my life, I'm back to SI6! Today was day 8 for me... still in RIU. I feel so much better now after my workout :) One thing I love about SI6--and this could just be my mind playing tricks--is that it seems to evenly trim away fat in all the right places, much like running. I'm a big fan of the J-Lo/Beyonce body type, so I'm glad I'm not losing my lovely lady lumps ;) After all, I still want to look like a woman, not a little boy, lol. And, amazingly, I no longer dread the lunges!!!
Keep at it everyone... we're all doing great :)

I googled it and it just looks like another one of diet sites which con people out of their money ... you could do everything it's telling you without paying out your well earned money to have someone tell you :/
Meh maybe I'm too critical about those fitness plans.

back to si6 today. i had my day off so it is good to work out again.
k8ie- slim in 6 is not a diet plan, it is just an hour long workout that includes strength training and cardio. and some people on this site speak first hand of their great results! i am a skeptic of funky equioment or extreme diets, bit this is plain old exercise! and it's fun!

Can you imagine I did my RIU last night around 23.30 (the starting hour!). I've been all day out with different things to do (a wedding fare to visit, some table tennis to play, a dinner in the restaurant and so on) and I really, really did not want to skip the training. LOL. Even though the scale shows me this morning a little bit more then yestarday, with all this activity it should be water, isn't it?
monix i know what you mean about the scale... i chalked it up to water, my body is transforming regardless of the number on the scale!
I wasnt able to get my RIU yesterday. Kinda bummed me out but I am going to make up for it today... I plan on ice skating and doing RIU before I have to go back to work at 8pm...ugh!
I will try to post later and report on my efforts.. wish me luck... i hate not getting my workout in. NO MORE EXCUSES!!!
