Anyone doing SLIM IN 6?
Mey, Great job on the 50 min walk! I wish had that kind of time in the am. I'm doing good to get to work on time! LOL
YAY! Everyone is on the ball. That is awesome! Mey, I also have to give you kudos on the walk! I'm in the same boat with obsessor...just trying to get to work! LOL!
I have all the books and such. The "suggested" work out schedule is as follows:
Days 1 & 2: Start It Up (this first DVD is focused more on correct form with all the lunges, squats, etc. It also says to move up when you are ready or not feeling the "burn")
Days 3-end of Week 2: Ramp It Up (can do this week 3 as shown in the chart, then move up in week 4)
Weeks 3-6: Burn It Up
Slim & Limber: everyday is optimal, but always on your day off to prevent from getting "tight"
Ab Routine: M, W, & Fri for the first couple of weeks, then everyday in the last few weeks of the system (This routine gets MUCH easier in week 3....you will be amazed how quickly your abs improve!)
Of course, it comes with a suggested food guide, but if you are watching your calorie intake, using CC, and making healthy choices, this shouldn't be a big deal.
Thanks to my hubby & Monday Night Football, last night was a late night and I didn't get up early to do my "normal" routine of working out. I'll be doing it tonight. I really want to follow this program as closely as possible. I know the first time I did this (lasted almost 3 weeks & quit labor Day weekend UGH!), I was feeling incredible and noticing some looseness in the clothes. Of course, I wasn't making the best food choices and I think I got discouraged. I'm so happy I found CC and a great group of gals who are doing this right along with me. It's awesome!!

Guess I'll do SIU, and slim & limber tonight. I'll get on the ab routine tomorrow. My abs are just a teeny bit sore from last night. Yay!
I'm so happy to have found this little group and also to make use of this dvd!
BTW, my name is Retha, 34, married, no kids, and a squatty body (as my uncle used to say, affectionately of course). I'm in CT...anyone else by chance in CT?

Well just finished my second day of start it up, and i lasted a bit longer without a break today...
However, there is NOOO way i'll be able to do the romp it up this week so i'll do that week 2 and and half of three, then Burn it up the for the rest of the time :)

I know!! I just got done emailing Amy and Mey that I'm sticking w/ SIU for the rest of this week. Gotta get conditioned to the moves b/4 I go adding resistance!! Crap - I'm sore!! LOL

I think staying with Phase 1 for the first week is my route, too. AND I've already taken a day off (GEEZ!), so it looks like I'll be hitting this everyday & ramping it up on Monday. I am looking forward to working with the resistance bands! LOL!

Hi. I am considering buying Slim in 6. I know that it states it tones you up, especially in the legs, butt and abs. I was wondering if anyone has seen results in their upper body as well....I need a lot of work on my arms and shoulders. Do these videos work that area as good as everything else??

To all of you who are starting or doing SI6, don't give up and keep it up! To those of you who are thinking about starting, well, what are ya waiting for? :)
@speechgal - If you are using the resistance band as shown in the workout, you will see result in the upper body. Yes, that means arms and shoulders. I love resistance band because you can adjust the intensity of your workout and that little thing is so compact and travel easy with you. (yes, yes, I took it with me on my vacation :p )
Hi. I just started SI6 on Monday Oct. 12th. I used SI6 in 2004 and lost 25 lbs. I skip the Abs section and use Abs 200 by Tony Horton. So far i can se a huge difference in my Abs. I'm doing the SIU everyday and with ankle weights on every other day for faster results.
