anyone 5'2 how much you eat to maintain?
hey i was wondering how much you maintain on and dont say 1000 calories cause i am not a rabbit and i dont want to eat 1000 calories please. I am 19 so I am suppose to maintain on 1900 im 110 pounds, and trying to eat 1900 to see if i can actually get away with it, so i recently upped my cal to 1700 on sitting on butt days and 1900 on moderate days~erica what do you maintain on??
I'm shorter than you, 5'0", and 39, 120 lbs, and get "moderate exercise" each week, and maintain on between 1700-1800. When I first decided to maintain, the calculators said I'd need less than 1600. HA!!
Ease up your calories, play around with them. It's in your health's best interest to eat as much as you can to maintain your weight to make sure you're getting enough nutrition.

haha the calculator was way off for you, lol! i think ill have pumkin pie for lunch lol~erica
I am losing weight by eating 1400 a day. 1700 - 1900 should keep you stable. Don't get overwhelmed by water weight days.
4'11 moderately active (30-40 minutes cardio 6 days a week and 1 day weight lifting 20 mins), sit on my butt for most of the time aside from that since i'm a full time student. i do walk to class though.
I'm really small mind you, 21, and i was gaining a bit on 2000 but quite slowly. Maybe 1-2 pounds over the course of a month. So i have since reduced to 1700-1800 and seem to be maintaining just fine.
you being a bit taller and younger than me I'd think you could surely get away with 2000 daily.
