this was what i had the whole day,

7 peanut butter sandwich,(white bread)

1/2 canned tuna in mayo

1 whole pineapple

4 drumstick and c.wings(2:2)

3 hot chocolate

1 cups of white rice

3 large packets of acar(around 500g each)..(pickled cucumber and carrots soaked in oil..

A whole polystyrenes packet full of stir fry butternut squash

hey man its a binge, and we eat crazy things when we binge. that is not the worst, you just need to write it off :)

Comparing binges is counter productive.  Instead, try focusing on something positive and motivating. 

i've binged like that before hundreds of times. :(

I am pretty sure most of us have binged 'crazily' before. When our mind is set in that mode, we find ourselves eating ridiculous amounts of food and foods we may not necessarily love. One time (than god it was about 2 years ago) i seriously ate like 17 cream biscuits in one go (along with everything else). I found myself drinking regular coke (i hate regular coke), eating snack bars that i didn't like just for the sake of eating. I felt so sick and full but i just kept eating. I think people binge crazily because 1. they are restricting themselves and 2. they think "this is my one day off, i need to cram as much food as possible into this day because i don't know when/have to wait until my next binge day".

The best thing you can do is, work hard on your exercise the next day so you realise that eating that much really isn't worth all th extra exercise and give yourself a little treat each day or work in something you love to your plan :)

you're 16 so I wouldn't worry too much about it, but talk to ur mom or some1 in your family about htis. You don't lok fat or even slightly overweight. Your body still needs to grow and clearly needs the nutrients. So maybe you can ask for brown bread to be bought rather than white? You seem to eat fruit as well so maybe try some kinds that are lower in sugar like apples, tangerines, oranges, the odd banana, berries. Add a bit of honey maybe and a few crushed nuts, whatever you fancy!

It's important that you keep in mind that you are still young and still have lots of developing to do. And you keep track of what you eat in a day, which is good, but don't get obsessed with it.

I can binge like there is no tomorow...It is truly difficult to control it at times. I can go through bowls of cereal, slices of bread, spreads of peanut butter, snickers, reeses, nestle chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich, bags of cookies, fast food. Oh god, i will just make myself ill. its disgusting.

If it makes you feel better this is what I had yesterday:

1 bowl of raisin bran

1 huge chocolate frosted doughnut with sprinkles

1 pizza lunchable

1 bowl of cinnamon life cereal

1 entire frozen pizza

1 more bowl of cinnamon life cereal

6 mini snickers

2 mini twix

2 sugar cookies

some potato chips and onion dip

They happen! It's okay, just move forward.

Soo been there. Just attempt to not dwell on it. I often find that after a big binge, i start to crave healthy food O-o

Have you been cutting calories? If so, your bodys' set point realized you weren't eating enough & forced you to eat so you wouldn't starve.

In the end we are animals. Animals are not meant to diet, they are meant to survive. When an animal doesn't get enough food, its' body puts it into food mode to ensure its survival. The animal will be overcome with the urge to find food & eat it.

If you think this may have triggered your binge, eat closer to your bmr.

i'm not cutting..I trying to eat healthily (within 2k-2.2k calories)but it is so hard to not binge..I eat brown breads sometimes..but when my mum's angry with me,she would only buy white bread just to make me angry..

I think i feel insecure with the potbelly i have that my friends don't..

Hey no worries, what's the point in living life if we can't enjoy it? I'm not saying go nuts every day but sometimes it makes you feel good to feel full and enjoy some good food.


I have to go to work tomorrow and every Wed. the secrateries bring in pastries from Panera, it's so hard to stay away from them, I often give in but every day I go to work I feel like all I do is sit and eat until I go home. It does suck but just relax and break a sweat, the feeling'll go away..
