They are a little more expensive than Boca, Morningstar, and Gardenburger, but Quorn products are the best "meatless meat" I have tried.  They are a little harder to find, but Earth Fare, Whole Foods and even Publix and Kroger do carry some of them.  I love them, and they are very filling, and don't really need sauce or seasoning (in my humble opinion).  Just wanted to share. :)

I love Quorn and I brought it to work in a casserole, nobody knew it wasnt real beef.  They kept asking, are you sure this isn't real?  And their chicken patties are soooooooooooooooooooooo good!.  They aren't vegan, but for me right now, its the next best thing.
Yeah Quorn is pretty fab if you don't care about eating eggs.

My guy never noticed a difference when I used Quorn substitutes, but unfortunately as they're not vegan, they're not the thing for me. Oh well...

But yeah, if you're a vegetarian who eats eggs, go for it! The taste is good and so is the texture.

Porn Quorn is awesome. We fed it to a friend of ours when we were doing a white trash taco night (hard taco shells, seasonings that come with them, grated cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion) and forgot to tell him. He didn't even notice it wasn't meat.
have heard of it -- want to try it

will look for it at earth fare this weekend when I'm in Greensboro

thanks for the tip!
I've had Quorn when I've been in the UK but they still don't sell it here (Canada)  :(

I totally agree, Quorn makes the best chicken subsitutes.  I've been enjoying their products for the last 5 years, but now that I've moved it has been difficult to find stores nearby that sell them.  Just thinking about them is making my mouth watter.
I live in the UK and the Quorn range here is vast. I'm coming to CA for a couple of weeks, does anyone know if (and where) I can get it? I will be staying with meat eating relatives and don't want to be too much of a burden.
Quorn (love the stuff) has a link on their site for store locations.

Enter CA, and I'll bet you will find something near you.
I live in the UK too. Good to find another on here and in the veg section too! I like Quorn and we have loads of Quorn stuff over here. It's also quite low calorie!!!

Yeah, Quorn has the best 'chicken' but I am having the same probmel as abusche78. I moved from a large city to a town with (literally) more livestock than people and can't find it anywhere. I tried to get the stores to order it and none of them will. Still, I have a friend who comes down every couple weeks and she keeps me stocked up. If you haven't already, try them. I triple dog dare you!
I second the triple dog dare BUT also dare all of you to give it to someone expecting (beef, chicken, etc) and see if they notice or care.  Chances are they wont cause its that darn good!
(I see some of you have already done this...the great part is when you tell them.  Or maybe you will just keep it to yourself for a good chuckle every now and then!)
Hi all!  I'm also in the UK and love Quorn products!  I use the fillets and "chicken" pieces, also the mince is great for burritos or tacos or pasta sauce!  My meat loving husband even loves the Quorn sausages!!!
I'm very lucky that my boyfriend not only eats my veggie cooking but eats vegetarian when we go to a restaurant...aah!

I heartily recommend the new Quorn Gruyere Cutlets (I find them at Whole Foods generally).   They're not low fat, but really let you feel indulgent now and then for a still fairly reasonable pay off.

I try not to give people food without telling them what they're eating (or warning them that I'm not going to tell them), because you can never be too careful about food allergies. It also tends to be a good way to really piss someone off.

When I did it, it was a complete oversight. We told him afterwards.
