girl, if ur skinny, there's nothing to worry about...

have u seen the state of some people?  they kill themselves coz they think that their hands are too big...

chill girl....

and please dont just be afraid to eat...

its a proven fact, right, that if u don't eat, u gain more,...

so if u eat healthy, and like, exersize like, every day or so like, u should be like, losing loads.

like.

I would never stop eating but I still feel self concious, I have this disgusting layer of belly fat and I hate it!

I know girl, I understand, exept u can put a glass of water on my butt and it wont fall off...

BUT ANYWAY!

Its seems to me that no matter how thin I have been in the past it was never small enough,  I always felt discusting, I have always hated my tummy, and I rocked a size 0 jeans before.  Now I have gain 25 lbs and I am kicking myself for thinking I was fat back then,  I was a freakin twig!!  Learn to love yourself, if you need to tone up go to the gym!!  especially if you dont have the extra weight to lose!

oh dear,

i just checked your gallery, and your stomach almost looks exactly like mine.

i got mine a little skinnier this summer, but then my period started skipping. i gained 5, and now it's normal again.

i'm just doing my best to accept my stomach for the way it looks and sometimes i am fine with it.

though, if you feel terrrible about your stomach, i'd suggest doing crunches, cause i do those due to crew(rowing), and having a wee bit of stomach muscle definition when i flex helps me feel better about my stomach.

The best thing I've found for my stomach is Rodney Yee's power yoga DVD.  It's a total body workout and you don't feel like you're really working your abs, but the next day they will be SO SORE!  It strengthens your whole core to make it longer and leaner.  If you're willing to spend about 15 bucks on the DVD, it's definitely worth the investment.

I used to have a huge amount of belly fat too. I stopped eating oily food, ate meat only once a month (I was obsessed too, my dear!), ate fish ONLY if I had nothing else to eat and ate a whole bunch of fruit and vegetables (especially fruit). I drank only water - and I still do. I began sleeping for an average of eight to nine hours every night and the fat went away. I did squats and sit ups every now and then but I have stopped completely.

I hardly exercise now (unless you count stuff like playing DDR or shopping) and my belly fat never came back. :)

psh...
you can get rid of it with excersize and eating healthy. :]
me, on the other hand, had my appendix removed last summer and will ALWAYS have this weird pouchy look... ¬¬ just when I was starting to get a toned tummy...poof! now it's, well...weird looking, even my navel is different due to the incisions. xD
so relax :3 you can improve what you don't like.
and yeah, I understand your fear of eating... I 'm just starting to get over it.
cheers. : D

START JOGGING

i swear to god it is a miracle worker for tightning up hips, thighs, butt, and belly. Even my arms and shoulders have toned up from swinging my arms and it does wonders for your posture!

I know it sounds awful, eww, running... but start slow and soon enough you are running for 45 mins -1 hour. I recommend running outdoors, it helps for me to visually see the distance i have gone rather than a machine with "dots" tracking my voyage.

My legs have toned up after I started running, and I really like running.

My only problem is patience, I don't really have it so it makes it harder for me to progress in this belly-fat-losing progre

I'd suggest sticking with high-fiber stuffs.  That can really help as far as how you feel.

I suggest letting go of the image of "perfection". Nobody is perfect. I'm SURE all those people you listed above have things about their bodies they don't like. They're airbrushed in pictures, they're airbrushed in movies. Imagine how they feel that they HAVE to be airbrushed to be in magazines? And to see what editors DO airbrush has to be heartbreaking for them, even lowering their self esteem that much more. That body is theirs, and they have personal trainers that also kick their butts, and they're still not perfect.

You'd binge less if you ate more. Sucks to hear, but it's true. I guess this is tough love. A fear of weight gain is no fun either. I know, I live it too. Heck I feel disgusting... But I know all the thoughts in my head aren't going to change a thing. It's best to tell yourself "This is me, and that's that"

Might I suggest a good book to read? Probably the best book I've found that helps with my own EDNOS. Not saying you have one, just saying feeling disgusting and fearing weight gain isn't a healthy mindset.

Life Inside the Thin Cage by Constance Rhodes. Maybe you can get it at the book store, amazon.com, or even the library. Even though I'm still not ready to let myself out of this "thin" cage she mentions, it really helps me understand that I'm not alone in my fight to stay thin and that help is out there.

i think i have the same situation, im thin but i have this lil bump on my stomach, right below my belly button that will not go away!! i eat healthy, i excercise but nothing wont make it disapear, its frustrating and at times i feel disgusting and not good enough (compared to models like allessandra and adrianna...)

try to look at the positives, your beautiful and YOU ARE THIN. everyones body is different. dont hurt yourself over it though (binging) or starving yourself. my lowest weight was at 120 and that was a struggle! i was hardly eating and for some reason it still wasnt good enough... now i am at a healthy weight for my height and if i dont ever get back to 120 then i will atleast try to maintain with where i am at right now, rather than yo yo dieting and gaining all kinds of weight..

i think you should aim to eat healthy and exercise. skinnylea is right, running is the best thing! stay positive girl..

I know they're not perfect. But I've seen not-airbrushed pictures of them and they still look amazing, and I've met people with amazing stomachs face-to-face and it just completly lowers my self esteem.

Also, I'm pretty scared I'll lose my period, even though I'm not underweight. Could it happen even if I'm not underweight???

I definitely do sometimes! I'm only 110-112ish pounds and I am 5'6 or 5'7, but I have a little bit of a gut!. I'm running again, for fun mostly, but we'll see if that helps! I'm a little worried, I saw your entry about the bread and then not eating dinner?? Don't let yourself get that caught up! You are young, you are beautiful, enjoy life!! It gets out of hand VERY quickly if you're not careful!
