I used to eat anything and everything I wanted, often in excessive quantities. CCP is wonderful.  I have lost 41 pounds since last fall, and even though I'm seeking slow, consistent results, now that I am limiting my portions and tracking food intake, I know I am eating far less calories than ever before.  Granted, it's winter, but I've never been this cold!  Anyone out there finding this as part of eating less for weight loss?  Thanks!

You are not alone...my husband says I have gotten whimpified with my loss of 50lbs. I can tell I am way more cold compared to last yr at this time. Its been below zero for a few days here and I feel like its 50 below! The skinnier version of me is not liking the being colder part I guess having that added fat I had back in the day was at least good for something lol.
I’m freezing too. I live in sweats sweat shirts and layers of blankets and its 72 in the house.
When I first lost a lot of weight I realized that I became much much colder... You're losing your insulation... congrats!
Same here.  I'm always cold, bundling up in layers & even when the temperature in the house is 68-72dF, I'm still not warm.

You have lost 41 pounds of insulation; therefore, you will feel colder.  I have the same problem.  You will adjust

Thanks for the validation - for the first time in my life I'm looking forward to summer!   Laughing
I actually got up off my butt to go grab this pair of pants that keep me warm when I'm thinner.  I currently don't need them. haha  But working on it.

Ok they are from Old NAvy
They are dark gray
and are soft material like a sweat pant but nicer
65%polyester
20% rayon
4% spandex

The times I've been thin I would have to take Hot baths just to take the chill off.  I would dress warmer.  Hot tea is nice too.

Yea we all got really cold after weight loss ;/

I'm ALWAYS cold now, since I lost most of my weight a few years ago.  My husband is always hot - he needs to lose weight.  SO, I usually have to have blankets, slippers, etc. with me in the evening while watching TV, while he sits there in his boxer shorts... ;)

Yeah - I am freezing and I havent lost the weight yet. haha! I usually burn up but I cannot get warm and its like 74 here in the office. Very Weird. At this tempeture I am usually pulling out a fan.
Gosh, I'm cold all the time and technically have 70lbs to loose.  In the summer I keep the house at 76 and am comfortable and in winter keep it at 69 and am cold all the time.

YAY I am not alone, I thought it was just me !!!!

Yup, I am FREEZING !!!!!

Have you every heard of underalls?  I got a pair to wear under my slacks in winter.  They are wick wear so, you do not sweat and then get cold from the wind and sweat.  They are like a light silk and very easy to wear.  Keeps me toastie warm.  And yup... if it is too cold inside, I wear them under my slacks inside too.

I have found that I am colder if I don't get enough sleep, moreso than anything to do with winter or weight.

Go to a runners store and ask for them. They are about $30 but, they wash like pantie hose and dry in minutes.

Yes, losing weight has made me a lot colder.  And possibly whinier, lol, I've been complaining about being cold for a while now.  I always wear a hoodie under my jackets (which are pretty good winter jackets).  And anytime I have to be outside (ie building to car, car to building, etc), I run.  Like the wind.  I don't care how crazy I look.  It also helps me warm up faster once I am inside too.

I'm always cold, when we have the AC on at work or home I wear scarves.
I'm perpetually freezing too! With the AC on I have to wear coats and jackets, and especially in the dairy isle when out shopping. I feel silly because it's summer but I get cold so easily with the powerful ACs.

You all are right there with me!  I actually bought silk longjohns (wintersilks.com actually sells women's sizes - yea to them!) and wear them all the time.  I never thought this would happen.  I was always the one with warm hands (must've been my cold, cold heart...   (LOL)  Thanks, everybody!

i'm always freezing.  i found that when i stopped putting ice in my water it helped a little.  i always sit indian style on top of my feet also to keep them warmer.
Yah, I got cold after I lost 40 lbs.  But I also plateaued.  I couldn't tell if the cold was from the lost fat or the lost metabolism.  Anybody else seen a correlation?
This happens to me too.  It's a lower bodyfat thing (I'm smack in the middle of my healthy weight range and I eat quite a bit of food, so personally I don't think it's a metabolism issue).  If you see a girl in a sweatshirt in the summer - it's probably me.
