alright, so i know i'm not "technically" overweight (5'4" 134 lbs), but i seen a whole lot of room for improvement, and i know i'm not at my ideal weight. is anyone else in the same boat? it's not like i'm attempting to become a skeleton, but i'd like to get down a size or two. i see THIN potential ;)
I'm not overweight at all!
Yup, im in the same boat as you. (5'10'' at 160 lbs). I been lazy during the summer though...that never helps things o.O
5'2" 135lbs
I am at a healthy weight.. My BMI should be 19-25 and it is currently 24.7.. So technically im not overweight but I can definetly improve!

Not overweight...anymore! It's a good feeling. But yes, there is always room for improvement, be it a little fat loss, a little diet tweaking, or a little muscle gain.
I'm not overweight. My BMI is 24. But a few months ago, it was 28! Yikes.
technically no, i'm not overweight. according to that bmi shiz that is.
Technically I am not overweight either (26, 5'4", 133), however I have spare tyre syndrome, and just want to improve my eating over all (I really love chocolate!).
My high weight was 164, which is on the very upper edge of normal
weight range... I was definately chunky... that was back when I was
22. I'm now pushing 52, am 128 pounds... a nice lean 19.5
BMI. I have a small frame, plus round face... so the extra pounds
are not attractive on me. I am always fascinated with heavy people with
thin faces... they don't look heavy.
I'm not really overweight either (5'2", 117lbs) but would like to lose a few more pounds for personal satisfaction, toneup a bit and learn to have a healthier relationship with food!!! This site has been a lifesaver (even though I am new) it is just what I needed!
I too have a little extra fluff around the middle. I'm 28,5'4", 131lbs. I see my THIN potential and with will power and exercise I'll be there eventually!
Yeah, I'm with you - my trainer told me that my fat content is 21%, making me "slightly fat" - I'll still take it as a compliment! I'm down to 138, another 8 lbs to go.
same here...i have that little bit of a spare tire....i am 5'4" and (as of this past weekend) 128.5 pounds. i think it's time to start a little toning to i'm not so jiggly!!
it's true, sometimes you are not necessarily overweight but could still stand to lose a few pounds / or do a little toning.

Those were pretty much my stats when I started here (5'4"/131) and got to my goal (112) - overshot a bit, actually, but I'm happy where I am, so I'm planning on staying here and working up to 112 with muscle later, after I get the hang of maintenance.
according to my bmi im overweight, but when my doctor checked my fat percentage he said i was at a healthy weight...bless that muscle
I know that I'm not "overweight", but at the same time I, too, see room for improvement. Even if I don't necessarily lose any weight (5'6'' and hovering between 139 and 140 for the past week), I at least want to tone up -- a lot -- so that I look slimmer and just feel better about myself. Apparently my BMI is really healthy, but that doesn't mean that I like what I see in the mirror, or that I'm comfortable in that image.
acarr: I'm pretty much the same as you - 5'4, 135lbs! I started the summer at 141lbs, so obviously I feel like I could stand to lose a little. Most people wonder why I'm on a "diet" because I suppose I am "petite" (I don't see it, but whatever)..it's mostly because I have more fat on my body than I should and I'm working to turn that into muscle! I wish my friends would be more supportive of my "diet"/healthy lifestyle changes (ie. working out), but most keep saying "comon, it'sjust one cheat meal" and look at me weird when I say I can't eat something because I'm counting calories. Of course, these are all the girls who are naturally very skinny regardless of what they eat.
My goal is to lose 7 more lbs by Christmas. Hopefully it will be faster, but since I'm so close to the goal I want to be realistic. I am a bridesmaid next June and I want to look great!

I am technically not overweight, I think the last time I checked my BMI was 23.3, I'm 5'7" 150lbs.
Every point of my BMI above 20 is carried on my thighs and butt.

Not overweight anymore, either. 5'8" 153 pounds. Just trying to lose a few stubborn pounds and get lean muscle definition. Happy with the goals I have achieved so far!
I'm not overweight either.
I'm here because I want to stay that way, and do it sanely.
While I don't know what I weigh (weighing myself is a huge trigger for my anorexia), I am eating enough to sustain 130, and I am staying faithful to a healthy balanced eating plan, combined with a reasonable work-out schedule.
So yeah, this site is for all sorts of people--just as in real life, we come in all shapes, sizes, colors, etc!

According to this site, my BMI is 23.8, so technically I'm not overweight. I am 4'11 and 118 pounds. My goal weight is 115, but I really want to focus on decreasing my body fat percentage.
