does anyone else watch "The Bachelor"?
just looking to see if theres anyone on here that i can bash "The Bachelor" with. LOL
oh man, YES i watched it. all i can say is WTF?!?!
seriously though, i bet i know exactly what happened. Jason made his choice, and then things with Melissa weren't absolutely perfect, sunshine and rainbows, and so he started obsessing about Molly, convincing himself he made the wrong choice.
bet he'll end up unhappy with her too! and as far as Molly taking him back with no explanation or anything, i think it's kinda pathetic.
also, i think Deanna looked awful, and i hope Melissa is the next bachelorette!
Supposedly the producers orchestrated the entire thing, because Jason fell for Molly on that first overnight (the tent) date. I read a spoiler about 3 or 4 weeks ago that mapped out everything that happened last night. I didn't want to believe it was true but the spoiler had every single detail nailed. And part of it is that, because Jason fell for Molly, they had to pretend for the rest of the taping that he hadn't, to keep it interesting for viewers. Right down to him choosing Melissa and then ditching her on TV.
I didn't want to believe that either the producers or Jason would be that callous. But after seeing it last night, I have to believe the spoiler was all true. I will see if I can find the link and post it.
Did you notice how neither Melissa nor Molly were shocked at the after the final rose taping? Melissa knew already that Jason was going to dump her on camera. And Jason had supposedly been seeing Molly and communicating with her the entire time in that 6 weeks.
I knew that these shows were not really "reality" -- I mean, duh. But this is a new low as far as I am concerned. He even had his young son there after he proposed to Melissa. Talk about exploiting for the sake of ratings. It's disgusting.
And here's the link to the spoiler - I read this about 3 weeks ago or so.

Here's just one choice excerpt:
Adding to his conspiracy theory, Steve said at some point in the process, everyone knew there was an immediate chemistry between Jason and Molly, and that producers were worried that it would not make for good television if he chose someone so early.
"He was told, if you want Molly, you're going to have to pick Melissa, because we're not going to show a nine-week season of you and Molly and a happy ending because that's not what people want to see," he said. "They want drama; they want conflict."
And Melissa never saw it coming, he said.
"Melissa was a pawn in ABC's game," he said.
(This blog was originally posted on February 19. I hate to say I think it's all true.)
what makes me even more mad was that molly was willing to accept him back like that. it makes sense if it was orchestrated though.
That's exactly what I thought, too. There's no way any girl with half a brain would get back with a guy like that. Well, I should only speak for myself - I sure as he!! wouldn't!!! Who is to say he wouldn't just do the same thing to me? No way I'm putting myself out there again just to get dumped by this loser.
But if it was all set up, and Molly was aware, then of course she would -- just like what happened last night... Did you notice she wasn't shocked at all, and she walked out just looking all happy at the after the final rose thing.
I would love to believe that it wasn't all orchestrated, but all the pieces just fit too nicely.
HAA wow, well that theory would make sense. i mean, the whole after the final rose thing was pretty ridiculous, and seemed SO orchestrated....
but i do find it hard to believe that Jason is a good enough actor to fake all the tears. i think he really did feel bad for what he did to melissa.
but why would he ever go along with something so cruel? he doesn't strike me as that kind of guy...
*head explodes*
have any of these people who've ever been on the show gotten married and had a happy ending?
I didn't think so either, Jules, that he seemed like the type to go along with that.
And I agree, I believe he was genuinely upset most of the time. He should feel like a total schmuck!!! They may have been tears of guilt, but they seemed real. (Pretty annoying actually by the end, how many times he was sobbing!! lol)
Another thing I heard is that Deanna really did NOT want to go and do that little speech about follow your heart, blah blah blah.... But I guess once you appear on the show you basically have a lifetime contract with ABC and she was pretty much forced into it. I thought that scene seemed totally awkward and orchestrated, too. Which would make sense if she was asked to do it and it wasn't something she really felt in her heart.
nomo - The only couple I know of is Trista and Ryan (Ryan is actually a former neighbor of some of my family, and they said he was a genuinely nice guy).
somebody (who loves math) should do the math and figure out if the people on the show have higher odds of finding their life partner than people who don't go on the show... ![]()
At this point I think it's just about launching your career - not finding love. Like the club promoter bachelor from Austin who refused to pick anyone. Lorenzo Lamas' daughter, yadda yadda...
But even though I know that, I was still dismayed at last night's. So gross!! The involvement of a kid just takes it to a new (lower) level for me, too...
the deanna part was SO ridiculous. oh just came by NEW ZEALAND for a visit, tra la la! even if she was pretty much forced into it, i still think she's ridiculous and annoying. jesse was too good for her.
so do you guys think he really spent the holiday's with melissa?
I don't know how it would have been possible for them (Melissa and Jason) to have spent the holidays together for the last couple months, when supposedly they havn't had a chance to "break up" in person...and aren't they supposed to not be seeing eachother untill the shows all air so that no one see's them together?? It does all seem very fishy, though I hate to think I fell for it all....like a stoopid person, thinking reality means it is "real".....sigh.
SPOILER ALERT: don't read if you don't want to spoil the after the after the final rose thing tonight (or whatever the eff they are calling it...)
here's a new blog from the guy who broke the one above several weeks ago (which was 100% accurate): http://www.realitysteve.com/
I think Jason did spend the holidays with Melissa. That probably would have been only a couple weeks after the taping of the proposal or around that time anyway. It's been roughly 12 weeks since the season wrapped if the timelines are right....
They were allowed to see each other, Malone - the show arranges for them to see each other on the sly so no one finds out who he picks. (He wasn't supposed to be seeing/speaking to Molly but apparently he was if you believe the blogs...)
I think this season of the Bachelor was the most dissapointing. I know that in my opinion, I want to see a true love, happy ending come out of it and not drama! It makes it dissapointing that people put themselves on the line for it to be proven that "it doesn't work out." It's just sad that out of all the seasons, only one marriage worked out and had a happy ending.
And I've thought that since he didn't pick Jillian, which was my fav, that she would be the next bachelorette and that link proves it! Yay for her! I absolutely despise the stupid people behind this scheme ![]()
i despise the fact that i'm going to watch tonights ATFR part two. i can't stop myself!
those bastards!!
So downloading the episodes as we speak. I love the catty-ness that usually ensues. ![]()
i think that molly is a fool for taking him back. i mean what kind of person would give his word then suddenly just because of blocks along the road would change his mind.
i used to feel for jason when it was with deanna. now. ullk![]()
Yeah. I will watch tonights part 2 but I won't enjoy it. the last 2hr episode was just.....painful to watch. They dragged the last hour on and on and on. And then there was the crying and the "I don't understand" and then more crying, and then a proposal that looked waay too fake. Then more crying. Then they trotted that poor boy out in the end.
And then the ATFR part 1?? That was the most painful of all. all of the silence and sorry's and looking all contrite. The whole thing made me sick, frankly.
i live in kirkland where jason in from...and last night i was so mad and livid. if i ever see him on the streets i will give him a big mean glare.
