My diet begins November 1st. My first official weigh-in will be November 2nd, and I will weigh-in every Monday after that. Anyone up to the task of being a weekly weigh-in buddy?
I'd love to! I'm moving to Europe in June...everyone in Slovakia is super skinny. While I definately don't want to be that, I have a good 30 pounds I need to shed. Start Nov 2?

Okay. First check in Nov 2nd. We post the results here each week. My goal is to lose 45-50 lbs. t first, I wanted to lose the weight fast. Now after seeing a friend, who has lost 25-30 lbs during the last nine months, I'm think that it may be okay if it takes 1-2 years. he says she has just changed the weight she eats. She especially lays off carbs as much as possible. I thinking about limiting my carb intake to 90 per day. That's partly because I just started taking Novolog insulin.
I will weigh in every Monday too! I just started to get serious again about 2 weeks ago........ Would love to join you with weekly weigh ins......

If it's not to late I would love to join! I think that Mondays' are a great idea. That will help keep me on track over the weekend..I wont want to binge for fear of that weigh in..LOL Good luck everybody and will talk to you all on Monday!!

Hi bghunter , looking forward to Mondays weigh in. So far I've been behaving but my track record on that isn't so good. I'm hoping with the support from our little group I will stay focused!
Anyway, I'm looking to lose 30lbs by March 1st. I have gone up from 120lbs to 150 lbs in the last two years and have been very uncomfortable with the extra weight. My back hurts everyday...workouts are dreadful!!
But I will try and work through the pain this time around! Well I'm off to work..Happy Halloween and have a great weekend!!

I just recently had my second daughter (6 weeks ago) and gained 63lbs during my pregnancy. :( Anyways, I have lost 30lbs so far but still have a ways to go. Right now my goal weight is 150 which is what I weighed before I got pregnant with my first daughter. I'm only 5'4'' so that is technically still over weight but I'll reevaluate my goals at that point.

I am in as well! I have been in a low calorie (1500)/low fat (50 g/day) diet for a while now, I've lost 11 lbs so far, but I would still like to lose another 50 lbs or so.
I will be logging my weight with you all from Monday onwards, then :D
Hey I would like to join too. I was in one of these before but everyone kept dropping off till it was just me lol and I suddenly didn't feel accountable to anyone. I don't have a weight loss goal at the moment, just want to see it go down. I seem to get stressed when I have a goal and wind up stopping so now I'm just on the train for the long-haul.
Bghunter, goodluck tomorrow. Remember to start small because if you dive in your body is going to fight back. It's used to the fat, calorie levels, etc. you are currently eating. I think you are smart to take it one step at a time and gradually loose the weight. Post tomorrow! --Linn

my current weight is 141 lb and my target goal is 119 lb. so i have to lose around 22 lbs.
i started started on 1 nov, n i suppose today is the right day to weigh.
i need the motivation to put an effort to lose weight, and i think i would get it here.

I think I`m the only one from Europe here, so since it`s already morning here I guess I`ll be first :))
OK, so I`m 171cm tall (5ft6), and my starting wight on Oct. 23 was 85kg (187) - that is the heaviest I`ve ever been (I`m 20!!).
I`ve been on 1500kcal diet (I eat whatever I want just in the range - on Wednesday I even ate 2 slices of pizza!) + alot of walking every day (I always walk to college and back wich is 30mins in one direction), and today I weight in 83kg (182)!!
I cheated on Friday and weighted myself, and I was 82 (180), but I spent a weekend at my grandmas - and you know what that meens :))
All in all I`m pretty staisfied with this week :) How was your week?

I'm 5'6 1/2 and today am at 148.8 lbs. I would like to get back down to 120lbs.
I started my diet last week at 150 lbs. So all in all I'm pretty pleased with the loss.
The weekend was extremely difficult but somehow managed to keep myself composed..LOL.. Everytime I craved something I wasn't supposed to have I exercised. As you can imagine I am extremely sore.

Keep up the great work. I too am sticking to about 14-1500 cals a day! The walking everyday to and from school is awesome!
