Anyone Else For Weekly Weigh-ins?

Quote  |  Reply

My diet begins November 1st. My first official weigh-in will be November 2nd, and I will weigh-in every Monday after that. Anyone up to the task of being a weekly weigh-in buddy?

Good Morning!

UGH, well, here it is.  205.  BY FAR the heaviest I have ever been.  I want to get back to 175..so 30 Lbs, here we come!

I just started jogging 2 days ago.  Before that I was just doing CC-1500 calories...I have since gained 5 pounds!  So, I guess I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong.  I love a nice glass of wine or two-that could be the problem.

This is truly going to be motivating.

Good luck!

Good mornin'!

I am 47 years old and 169 lbs.  I have been on a 1300-1500 cal diet since August.  Beginning weight was 176 lbs.  Down alittle, but overall, just STUCK!!!  I usually play golf once a week, take a multi-step class once a week and play racquetball twice a week for 2 hrs each time, rolled my ankle last monday...looks like a small orange...so have done NOTHING since....ARGH!!!!  Doesn't help with the weight loss not being able to exercise--trying to just watch what I eat 'til I'm back on my foot.  I would like to get down to 140 lbs.  Not on a time crunch...as long as it comes off fairly consistently.  Anyone have any thoughts on how to jump start my weight loss.  I'm thinking I should start lifting weights...maybe that will help. Trying to not get discouraged...as long as I'm not going up while my foot heals is a good thing!!

Well, I didn't reply when this was first posted, but I saw it and want to weekly weigh in so I am going to.

I am 155 currently, started out at 157. I don't get how I am not losing weight because I just started working out, but maybe it takes time and I haven't been eating my healthiest, so I hope that has something to do with it.  I would like to be my old self of around 110-115, I looked and FELT my best when I was there a couple of years ago, and throughout most of my life, so that would really make me happy.  I am in a sort of time crunch, I am getting married this July, and I just tried my wedding dress since I bought it like a couple of months ago and it doesn't fit....so I am extremely determined to lose this weight!!!

I am 22 and 5'4 and 170.6lbs. I would too like to get back down to 140-135lbs.

I know I can do better.  I have lost about 4-5 pounds in the last month with just diet.  Although I believe it is just fluctuations based on how close I am to my menstrual cycle!  But at least I have not gained!  I try to stick to the 1200-1500 calorie range, but at least 2 days a week I end up eating 2000-3000 calories.  I try not to get discouraged, just notice my weaknesses and try to improve.  I also have not started to exercise yet.....  I have a gym membership and I plan to start today............ASAP!  I will start very slow and work up.  I had knee surgery (ACL replacement) in August and I have not been able to do much exercise.  I have more range of motion now and I know there is always something that I can do at the gym.....even if it is just some upper body for now!  Look forward to weighing in every Monday.......

I started cc on oct 26 so today was the big one week landmark for me. I have to admit I was pretty scared to step on the scale but turns out I lost 4 lbs in just one week!!!!! I am on a 1300 cal a day program and its pretty tough but I am finding all kinds of low cal foods that I really enjoy.  My biggest struggle is dinner time. Any one with good ideas for evening meals send them my way :)My goal is to be 130 by june for my sisters wedding and I have a mid term goal to be 150 by mid january for a trip to Jamaica.wish me luck

Well, I hope that's everyone for the week. . I did really good with my diet today. Only eat 1300 of the 1400 I'm allowed.

From what I've read the most accurate readings are weekly readings that are taken upon waking, but right after urinating. Using the same scale and taking your weight at the same time each week also helps.

Next week, let's try to stick to this format. Comment in a separate post, if you want to.
