Anyone else 5'8? What's your goal weight?

About 8yrs ago, I was 131lbs.  On my 5'8 frame, people told me I looked sickly thin.  When I got married, I was 143.  While I liked the way I looked, it was too hard for me to maintain. :(  My current goal is 154 and then I'll re:evaluate.

I am 5'8" and my ideal weight is around 170-175.  I am female and loaded with lots of good lean muscle!!!!  I was pretty skinny at 165 so I'm looking to 170-175 now!
I'm 5'8" and currently fluctuating between 173-178. My first goal is to get to 164, which is at the top of my "healthy" weight range. Ultimately, I'd like to see 150.

I'm on my way! I started this journey at 232.

Thanks for your replies and congratulations on all your successes so far!  I WISH I could say what my beginning weight was, but I was terrifed to actually weigh myself until 2 months into losing weight.  I'd estimate it between 210 and 220.  I'm now 169.  I'm sooo anxious to getting into maintenance mode, but I'm just not there yet (and holiday season is approaching - ouch!).  Thanks again!
It all depends on if you are M/f and what your body type is. I'm 5'8 and big boned with plenty of muscle, my ideal weight is around 170-175.

My sweetheart is 5'8 as well but she has a small frame and she looks great at 127-130 (but looks too skinny if she drops much below that).
Well I'm 5ft8.5" if that counts? I started off at 210lbs but at the momment I cant seem to get beyond 189lbs because I keep slipping up (oh well) but I've been back on track for two days now though! My ideal weight as said by calorie count is 144lbs, but anything around 150-155lbs would be fantastic for me. Hell, just till I look better in my clothes really!
I'm F, 5'8". I started 173 and my original goal weight was 147. I'm currently 143 and my new goal is 138 and 18% body fat (currently 21.8%).
i'm also 5'8" female, body fat is 21.4 % and 148lbs...so lots of lean muscle, at my highest I was 190lbs my leanest 128lbs and 15% body fat (looked horrible but thought I looked good). Put some weight on and felt good at 140lbs...trying to get back to it..
I'm 5'8" and weigh 152, trying to get to 135. Then again, I'm a teenager in the suburbs so my standards are pretty high. ;)
i'm 5'8.5"...do i count?...i'm 207 now...and my first goal weight is 180...i'd like to eventually get to 140...and we'll see how i look and feel when i reach that...:)
I'm 5'8 and my goal is about 135lbs.
I am 5'8" medium frame female, 22 yo.  I weighed 141 in HS and hope to get back to that weight.  I dipped as low as 132 in college, but I was too skinny.

I started my diet Sep 24 @ 169.5lbs and am at 158 right now.  I don't know if I'll be able to reach 141, because I have breasts and hips now, but I am going to try.  I'll settle for 145-150.
Hey, im 5'8 or maybe 5'7 or somewhere in between...I'm 120 lb.  Nah im not anorexic I pack food down aye.  People think that only big people get discriminated against.  At least people dont tell ya your too fat to your face.  People tell me all the time that I don't eat enough, even though they have no idea what I eat.  People tell me I am anorexic, too skinny etc.  Man it just aint fair aye.  I used to eat until I was overly full to prove to people that I am not anorexic but now I just don't care what people think.  Even now I eat more than the average person.  Ah well its life I guess!  Don't judge us skinny folk though aye cuz its not nice on us.  Some of us don't chose to be skinny.  The lowest weight I have been is around 110lb but I wasnt eating that well cuz I was constipated so yeah.  The highest about 127lb another time I was constipated then I went poos and I was back down to 110lb.  weird aye!!!

helloooo...I'm 5'8 and I'm almost at my goal (132), I'm at 136 right now!!! woot! only 4 more lbs...I dont understand why the BMI on this site says your underweight after you go under 20? when other BMI calculators say something like 18.5 and below is underweight...strange...
Hi-o!  I'm 5'8", 23 yo, currently at 149, hoping to get down between 140-135 eventually.
im 5'8 and 100,yes i am anorexic..and trying to gain about 10 pounds.
I'm 5'8", started at 240, currently 193, my goal would be 164 (BMI <25) but honestly if I "stick" in the 170s that would be fine too.

In my late teens I ranged from 145-165. I'd probably be able to get back there if I started exercising again (I used to lift weights and do a lot of stairmaster), but that may or may not be able to be worked into my schedule. :)
I'm 5'8" -- started CC at 210, currently 172 -- my goal is BMI under 25 and body fat under 25%.  I've been as low as 145 without dieting/additional exercise, and that's probably as low as I would consider going.  However, I am large-framed with a muscular build, and I am exercising a fair amount now, so I may be satisfied w/something in the 150 range if my BF is down
I'm 5'8 and I am really struggling with what my goal weight should be. At first I was going by pant size, I wanted to be a ten. Now I think I want to be an 8. My goal weight is somewhere between 148-160. I will have to see when I get there.
