Does anyone have any experience using SAM-e?

I am interested in using SAM-e as pain management therapy.  Does anyone have any experience using SAM-e for that purpose?

I have arthritis stemming from an old whiplash injury.   I have been dealing with this for about 25 years.  It has always been "manageable" pain in the sense that I can push through it and pretend that it does not bother me.  But the truth is - it sucks!

I used the pads on my shoulders a few months ago.  I had a pinched nerve that made the pain of childbirth seem like a walk around the block.  I cant say how well it worked since I was using so many other things...messages, accupuncture and  pain meds.  It felt good though while I was wearing it. If you leave them on too long, they could leave a rash on your skin though.

Have you tried accupunture? do some research and see what the benefits are for your condition.

After 25 years I have tried about everything.  I am interested in SAM-e - not something else.  Thanks.

My inlaws are runners and my father-in-law has really bad knees (has to have one completely replaced next month at the age of 50) and they both take Sam E...I know they like it but I can't say to what extent...enough to purchase more of it while they were visiting me :)
