Has anyone ever heard of SlimCal weight loss pills?

Quote  |  Reply

I got an ad in the mail for SlimCal pills that sound to good to be true. It is supposed to be made from Opuntia ficus indica (prickly pear) cactus and bind with fat in your stomach as well as target fat stored in your body. It sounded good till I couldn't find the "Excel Lab" (they say one of the most respected names in the nutrition and pharmaceutical field) that they mentioned online. I also found the online ad had a different lab mentioned (Health Active ltd.). Has anyone ever used SlimCal? Are the labs just distributors. Also, SlimCal sounds a lot like Proacto (or something like that) from Europe. Are they the same? Thanks in advance for your help.

I ordered a 4 month supply ($114.99) October 1, 2008.  It is now November 13, 2008 and I still have not received them.  They say that they have a 7 - 14 day delivery time.  I don't know about them, but a month and a half is more than 7 - 14 days!!  They did tell me that they are back ordered and I should have them very soon.  What I am getting at is be careful, I have told them that if I don't receive them by the 20th that I am taking everything from the net and my PayPal info to the police as it would be a very close case to fraud.  If I do receive them, I will let you know how they work.  Take care.

1) If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

2) There have been no successful diet pills that helped people keep off weight long term. If there were any pills like that, everyone would be taking them and no one in the world would be overweight.

I'd save my money if I were you. :-/

I just have to quote my sister: "if fitness came in a bottle; everyone would have a good body"

Seriously, if it REALLY REALLY TRULY worked w no bad side effects, or was endorsed by the FDA, it would cost more than any of us could afford....or it would be prescribed by a doctor.

Losing fast and now is fine, but it'll hurt in the long run when all the weight comes back, plus some and possibly have health issues from the pills.

I was talking w someone who had gastric bypass, and gained it all back. She's losing again, but the moral of her story is that she firmly believes you have to work it off. No pain, no gain!
