omg :( im so sorry
im not an expert on any of this.. how much do you weigh now? do you purge often?
dont give up!!! life is hard but you are harder!!! remember.
being 15 i dont think its an option to throw away all the food you binge on...so i think right now you should just drink some water. whenever i want to eat water helps me feel not so hungry and when i overeat it makes me feel better.
i'm 52-53..i drank a lot of water..sometimes i drink 2 big bottles right after binge in but i hate the bloating of my tummy. Its disgust me.
oooh im soo sorry. i have never had a binging problem but i think i sorta know how u feel. ill be up all night u can msg me if u want to. i know i hate that feeling too!
its so good its night at ur place. Its only 12 pm at here..I feel so useless.I couldn't stand it when i saw i eat alot more than my family. My mum words always hurts me..i don know what to do anymore..
ehh mothers are only people and some people dont have the best of them! you shouldnt listen to negative things your mother tells you.
im sorry to hear what youre going through :( it sounds like youve been through a tough few days.
binge eating is terrible-i hate the way my stomach feels after and how big i feel. most of the gain is temporary! youve been drinking a LOT of water also, so that does account for a good amount.
what do you normally eat? if youre under eating normally it will make you want to binge. maybe try balancing out cals more so your body isnt craving things? and times when you know youre likely to binge, try doing something that will occupy you-go for a walk, get involved in something.
hang in there, you can get past this!
EDIT: i looked at your profile a second ago-my name is Rachel haha that was weird reading that. but you look thin in your photos and youve come a long way. :)
i usually eats bread..been trying to limit them to 4 pieces a day but these few days i been having 8-10 pieces everyday with either peanut butter or tuna or sambal.these few days been having dessert also.Lots of them.I guess its the sugars that cause me to lose control.Or maybe its my family..
Hey. I am not an expert on binging but I have seen this with my brother. I think binging has a lot to do with personal issues. People eat to make their problems go away and I used to do that myself. What you need to do is find some kind of activity that would get your mind off eating and figuring out why are you binging. I am looking your pic and you are thin. I think you look great. I have 60 pounds to go to reach my goal weight. Just hang in there. Personally, I think its your family and I have been through this. You need to block everything negative from your life out mentally. YOu shoudnt let what other people say get to you at all. I used to and took it out on eating. But, you need to realize that you are only hurting yourself. I wish I was there to help but I hope this helps. I am usually so feel free to come and talk anytime. You need to get all those negative issues resolved.
Any time you try to fast it sets up a binge. I don't do it anymore. It's like Yin and yang. opposite reactions that balance each other. I think it's a way to fill yourself up to avoid some inner issue that needs to be resolved. It's like an alcoholic that drinks too much and can't stop. There is inner work and I mean "work" that you need to do. Food doesn't solve problems it makes more when you do this plus the guilt. Similar to alcoholism but with food. I've been there and I'm sorry but you can always start your day over. Make a new begining today from this point on. Change your focus to helping someone else. Volunteer and get busy! The best thing to do is get out of yourself and find things to be greatful for. &nb sp;
Hey hun I'm so sorry to read yoru post - I, too, have been struggling with Binging for as long as I can remember. I believe it is the worst thing that can happen to somebody, and I seriously would not wish this on anyone including enemies, etc. It is that bad! I completely understand your sentence "you are tired with life" because I very often feel that way, too, esp after what I like to call a bingefest. It's awful! BUT.... hang in there. I am here to offer some help. There is hope!
lately, I've beenr eally working hard and have gotten a few good ideas which I will share with you. Keep in mind, though, it is hard work. I had to remind myself that even though the work is hard, it si worth it in the end, and I am a very hard worker for everything else in my life. We can and will do this! we just need to remember that we are human and will haev a few slipups and stumbles along the way, but the journey is so worht the effort it will take.
Okay, first off, i, too, binge a lot on bread. My mom would yell at me after having eaten half or a whole loaf she had just bought, making me realize what I had done. I do believe your family prob has somethng to do with the emotional part of binging (i have the same family issues, weird) but there's a lot the food has to do with it, too. Put down the bread. I believe that because of te physical symptoms and what my doc tells me about bread, etc, that I am actually allergic to wheat. You might be, too. After you eat a small bit (trying to limit to 4 slices a day? Good idea, but HARD to do!) it actually makes you feel hungrier rather than full. If this is true for you, you are allergic to it. It will be ahrd, but you must just quit bread cold turkey. Stop eating immediately and try to withstand any voice telling you that you are strong enough to just eat one slice. You aren't! No one is, not against an allergy addiction.
And sugar is tough, too. Try cutting that out. Man, you sound just like me! I feel for you, hun, feel free to message me. I know exactly what you are going through - it is not fun, not at all! good luck
We hear you, precious. Chocolate is my thing. Not bread. I'm so sorry for you. Purging isn't the answer. Getting away from the things that tempt you is helpful too. Maybe could talk to your Mom about keeping the bread in a place where you don't see it. If it's not in plain sight, that might be helpful. My husband hides his M&M stash from me. That helps a lot. That way I'm not tempted because I don't know where it is.
See if you can find a Overeaters Anonymous in your area. They have a lot of support for binging. Get a copy of Overcoming Binge Eating. You should be able to find it on Amazon or have your local book store order it.
Get some professional help from someone who deals in binge eating. Just a few sessions can do wonders for you. They can teach you techniques to help you control what you're doing and why.
I feel EXACTLY the same way. I went from 155 lbs down to 118 lbs in about a year by exercising and eating only around 600 calories a day. A few months ago I started binging and now I'm up to 140 lbs. (I'm 5'7"). I feel horrible and embarrased!! Lent is next week and I'm going to try to give up binge eating. I hope it works!!!!!!
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
