Can anyone help? Please?
Hi,
Im sorry to post this but I dont know why I keep getting this rash (in my photos) it appears on only on my legs, I think its burst veins or something but I keep getting them about every 2 weeks (ever since I started exercising 6 weeks ago) and they last about 5/6 days, is this normal? I used to just have them on my left leg but now they are starting to appear on my right.. I would like to know if anyone else gets these or not, im kinda worried about them, should I be?
If it carries on then go to see your doctor for some reassurance.
You say you think it's burst veins? What makes you say that? You also say they go away, and that's good.
I'm not a doctor, so don't take my word for it, but my husband has superficial veinous insufficiency, and he gets similar small spots on his legs under his socks. I always figured it was just a hair follicle irritation, but his take a really long time to go away.
If an antiseptic cream doesn't help you, I'm sure a doctor could shed light on the situation.
thanks for your replies... Its not any irritation from clothing as when I work out I work out in my underwear and only wear a bra and knickers (only do this at home, and I work out only at home apart from going swimming)
Well my boyfriend thought they might be veins that have burst as it looks a bit like blood has risen to the surface, thats what he thought bless him
My suggestion is excema which is basically a rash caused by severe dry skin. Dry skin can be caused by a bunch of things, and in my case was the result of showering more often because of exercising. You need a doctor to confirm and then he/she could recommend treatment that is best for you.
Regardless, I would go see a doctor if you can. It's better to be safe. I hope your legs get better!
Is it possible that it's ingrown hairs? If your dermatologist doesn't have an answer, try a cosmetics store like Sephora, they have a lot of good products for a variety of skin conditions.
Why should I gain weight if I'm not significantly underweight?
Actually, at 5 feet 5.25 inches and 96 - 98 pounds, your weight is below the healthy weight range for your height and age. There are... Read more
