Anyone interested in a Monday weigh-in thread?
I had no replies for this for the first few days so I thought no one was interested! I'm glad to see otherwise. I'll repost my stats, etc. since we seem to have a pretty decent group going. Also, I'm going to just keep editing my post by adding to the timeline below instead of reposting every Monday... just fyi.

Sept. 22: 125
Sept. 29: 124 - it's only one pound, but I'm glad it's gone! Got to work harder for next week!
Oct. 6: 120 - it looks like we're all doing pretty good so far! Let's keep it up!

I would also like to join. I'm 5'3 135 pounds. I hope to get down to 115-120. I love joining these motivational groups. It helps more than you think!
Count me in too! I started yesterday and thank goodness stayed within my calorie range for the day. To me, the first day of any plan is always the hardest.

I'm in too! I've not got that much to lose but I keep breaking my diet and then putting the weight I've worked so hard to lose back on again! Will I never learn?!?!?!

29/9 - 145 - great start but I always find the first week the easiest...next weeks the killer!
6/10 - 144 - not bad considering I had pizza 2 nights and an indian takeaway 1 night!

10/27 - I'm glad to see the weight going down again... It's got to be water weight given that I'm still exercising and eating pretty well... anyway, hopefully next week will bring a new low!

I wasn't planning on joining this weigh-in, but I decided to go ahead. I've been yo-yoing and it is very depressing! I'll lose 5 lbs. then gain 6 lbs.

Not attainable "at your age"?? What're you talking about, silly?! The human body is more resilient than we give it credit for. It's all a science, ya know? Besides, that's less than 10 pounds and while it may not exactly be a breeze, it's completely do-able at any age! Stay positive! Well, at least until (heaven forbid) you plateau or get fed up or something...then vent here so we can re-motivate you!
Sorry, I am just naturally cynical. Since I hit thirty I have gained and gained even though I eat less than ever. Very frustrating!
Ok, somebody back me up here- just eating less will eventually cause your metabolism to slow down even more. At 30 you should boost it by increasing activity. And when it comes to the eating part, really listen to your body and be mindful of what exactly you're putting into your mouth. Oh, and let me reiterate, I'm not saying it's easy or that I'm a pro at it myself! If it were easy none of us would be here right now. But be that as it may, I hope to see everyone back here on Monday for the weigh-in! Bring on the weekend!

Hi...I'm new here...I'd like to start this too. I am trying to give myself a 30 lbs weight loss by Christmas time as my present. I started August 18 at 193 and my current weight this morning was 177. I am hoping to be around 160-13 by Christmas Morning!!! I'm 32 and 5'7 so hopefully I can get there and maybe go further.

Hello, I am new as of today... I am 31 years old and have been struggling with my weight all my life. I work seven days a week, have 2 daughters ages 12 and 4. They are my life. I also coach cheerleading to girls ages 6-7. I am a very active person but can't seem to loss weight. So I would love to join the weigh in. My GW is 170 before Dec. 1st which is my girls state cheerleading competition. I don't want to be the fattest coach out there cause we all know cheerleaders should be fit :)

If you look at my first post and the one by v_avila you'll see that we suggested posting your stats (if you want) with a calendar which you can copy and paste from what we've already posted or just add the date and the weigh-in as you go along like shep67gs and bnbva. Then just edit the orginial post every Monday to show your progress. As far as discussion, you can see that there has been the usual type of discussion, meaning separate posts to respond or bring up a new topic. I will probably add a little comment with my weekly weigh-in edit, and I've seen a couple others do that too, so I read all the original posts as well as check the new ones. I'm so glad to see that we all made it back here today! I'm definitely inspired by all of you to keep working hard for next week!
Hi, you can count me in too! I started Monday last week and although I wasn't very good last week, I lost 2.25lbs last week...not being brilliant this week either but need a kick up the bum so maybe this is it?!
Starting weight - 133.5lbs
Current weight - 131.25lbs
Target weight - 114lbs.
I would really like to reach my target weight by the 15th of December but it says they reckon I'll achieve my target weight by the 29th of January? I find that a bit demotivating...?!?!
