anyone know how to add branded foods to database?

Do you mean to the main database, or as a custom item?  You can enter a custom item in your food log using the Add it Here link on the right side of the heading.

to request that it be added to the main database, use the contact link at the bottom of the page.  Give all the label information for the item, including the name and location of the maker.  If there is a phone number on the label include it.  The more information you provide the better able the team will be in adding your item. 

You may have to wait a while before it shows up because new items are entered in batches.
