Does anyone know about, or have any really good vegan cookbooks they recommend Or Any really good vegan cooking websites?
I have vegan cooking for one - this is pretty good, it has a shopping list for each week. Only downside is it doesn't have any pictures.
I also have brought the joy of vegan baking which i haven't used yet because im on diet!! But sounds yummy.
anddddd vegan recipes by nicola graimes - which is fuuuuuuull of pictures!!
Also my very very favorite website I have always been on constantly since I became a vegan is; www.parsleysoup.co.uk. She's also going to be releasing a cookery book soon too. The recipes are very simple and have only a few ingredience, so are easy to cook and buy for! Theres also lots of pictures! and the 'cheese' cake is amazing!
i really like the "how it all vegan" cookbook... i like really simple recipes, and since i live in northern ontario, it's difficult to find specific items sometimes. i've made quite a few meals out of it, and they've all been excellent!
YES, I love the ACCIDENTAL VEGAN written by a person who does not intend to be vegan, however find that some of their favourite foods are VEGAN dishes. Also, THIS CRAZY VEGAN LIFE is a bit of a text book on veganism with much helpful nutritional information. I also enjoy THE BEST OF VEGGIES & CO. with a collection of the favourite recipes of a restaurant, Veggies. I cannot believe that none of these books have photos, however the recipes are great.
I've actually been using the Simply Vegan cookbook a lot lately. I got it about 12 years ago and never really used it until recently. The dishes aren't the most amazing in the world, but they're hardy and fairly simple to make.
How it All Vegan and La Dolce Vegan are both great. And any book by Isa Chandra Moskowitz is a winner, especially Vegan with a Vengence.
Thanks for all your replies guys!! I'm going to write a list of all these books to get they sound great :D
There are actually some simple and really delicious vegan recipes in the "Vegetarian starter kit" It's all vegan stuff, and just a little panflet they'll send in the mail from;

Definitely worth a look since it's free!
Better late than never. There are so many good ones! My standard is the Veganomicon(Moskowitz and Romero), but I recently picked up Vegan Fire and Spice(Robertson) and The Vegan Table(Patrick-Goudreau), both of which are wonderful! Joy of Vegan Baking, mentioned above, is classic. All these have simple recipes that will wow you and your omnivore friends! I have yet to make a recipe from any of those cookbooks that was not wonderful and easy. The best part of being vegan is, to me, the food! Also look at these websites as you don't even need to buy a cookbook: www.vegcooking.com, www.theppk.com, vegweb.com, www.thevegetariansite.com and www.vegancoach.com, to name a few.
Odd as it may seem, I came to vegan food the back way: it was the wonderful food that got me interested and the health and ethical concerns that were there in the back of my mind then came forward. I know that is selfish, but it got me to the right place!

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Vegan Cooking, has a lot of good recipes in it.
The New Now and Zen Epicure: Gourmet Vegan Recipes for the Enlightened Palate
Vegan Brunch: Homestyle Recipe… by Isa Chandra Moskowitz is great too.
I think "Vegan Lunch Box" is fun. The author makes lunches for her kid so a lot of her recipes are kid friendly. She also has a blog and posts some pretty tasty recipes online.
