Thanks. I'm trying to get it all down, so I can just eventually just forward it to people who ask (and some do).

The even bigger pain in the *ss was conevrting food logs and exercise logs into word and then posting them to my journal. The 7 Pound week food and exercise log is there now.

OK . . . now just focusing on the future. ~Whew~

Hey guys! Welp, I know I missed the thursday weigh in but my weigh in days are mondays anyways so here goes---

As of last monday (after the 4th) I had gained from 163 to 167! sooo I worked my butt off and yesterday I was 161.6! This morning I was 162.2 but I think most of that is water & bloat.

SW: 172.6

CW: 162.2

GW: 140

 

Meggo - well done. I've gained this week, and I am really hoping its just sodium/waterweight....

I have a feeling it won't be though. Lol.

i fear what my weighin will be this week!  it's a holiday weekend here in n. ireland and my bf and i have both been off work on 'vacation' and it's been all eating and drinking!  i think i have to accept an inevitable gain on thursday and hope to even out by next week....  :-(  but after we go back to work i'm back on track to aug. 25!!!

my b/f has had like 3 gigs this week, and being the suportive girlfriend :D I showed my face, and showed the bar-man my face to get the beer in my face - and the pizza in my face...

So I have worked out every day sense last weigh in, I have been really good about my eating and this morning I was down to last weeks weight of 124.  So I figure if I continue and work this hard the rest of the week I will be down at least .5 lbs by Thursdays weigh in.  I have upped my morning work out from 45 min to 60 min and upped my afternoon workout from 30 min to 45 min.  I am also going to try and cut out some carbs, I have no idea how to do this because fruits and veggies are my life line.  When I think of eating healthy my mind does not go to a meat product.  I did change from yogurt to cottage cheese for breakfast (16 carbs to 5 carbs) but I still have salads for lunch.  If anyone has suggestions for what I can eat at work for lunch (only Microwave cooking available) that is low in carbs please share (I am Not a vegetarian so meat is fine I eat a lot of Tuna and Chicken).  Thanks.     

july - I'm not sure if ths will help....

my dad is on a low-carb diet, he still had veggies and stuff - lots of salad - but what he doesn't eat is rice, pasta, potatos, ect.

So, while I'm having chicken, potatos and veggies, my dad will just have the chicken and veggies or salad, but he does a BIG salad so his plate doesn't look any less appatising (sp?) than ours.

he had lots of salads with cheese or meat in too - he usually takes to work his salad with a dressing, slices of ham and cheese. (so, even though you're cal counting, you can make the cheese low fat act.) you usually find that with cheese and protein ect, you end up feeling fuller anyway.

My idea of a low carb diet is just limiting things like potato, and not things like cucumber!!

That is what I thought too.  I will try it for about two weeks and I will let you know if I see any change.  I know there are some carbs in veggies but hopefully they are the "healthy" kind and not as bad as in pasta.

I've crept slowly but surely out of the overweight category into the high normal BMI category. That was one goal. Now the next goal is to get down to my goal weight. After that, lots of toning for sure.

Well, just as I'd feared, this was not a good week for me.  I'm up 1.4 lb to 159.8, though thinking about it I wasn't so far over my burn, as all week I was pretty active, so I'm hoping it was all the sodium and processed foods, and that in the next week of diligent counting and exercise I can get back down to last week's and then some....

I averaged 1834 calories per day for the week (about 70 less per day from last week when I had two bigger eating days rather than just one this week). I exercised for an hour and a half every morning. I fidgeted. I bought some of those hand exercise thingys, that I keep on my desk and pick up from time to time.

July 17- 153 (after being pretty much 154 after last weeks weigh-in until yesterday!)

This week I've been a lot stricter on myself, mostly eliminating sweets (my downfall!!)  Running is also up. 

Good job to all of you who keep losing, even when you stay flat for a week or so its still a good job!  Today I am wearing a pair of pants that I broke the button on (Im not kidding) the last time I wore them.  They are very high-waisted, and I have to say I'm feeling pretttty fine in them today ;)  Have a great weekend everyone!!

Hey girls & guy :) Hows it going on the 15?? Looks like we're all goin pretty good to me. Even with the slow losses here and there everyone seems to have a good outlook and a positive attitude! Yay!
